Comfortable and very kind and helpful staff other than one lady.
It is ridiculous to be charged for parking.
Also there is one lady working upfront that is very rude. Every single time I stay here, I always hope she’s not upfront and I am reconsidering staying at the hotel because of her. She comes across bossy and condescending.

Better facilities than alternatives but the comparisons are not Hilton peer hotels
Single bed, no couch

Friendly staff
Noisy doors being slammed early morning.

Staff was friendly and helpful.
The room was not up to Hilton standards. Old and dirty carpet on the floor. Bulky old and noisy air-conditioning. The toilet did not flush properly. The shower floor was broken and not 100% clean.

Clean, bright and the big twin bed is more than enough for 3 of us
We stay for 2 weeks in Urbana to accompany my son on his 1st week on college
We stayed in Hilton Garden in more than 6 nights
We experienced that all the receptionist ladies are impolite & a bit rude
even when we only ask a bottle of water while Urbana got heat wave , she replied : we sell the water, you only got 2 bottles when you check in
I know the water is compliment, its not so expensive even when we buy it and at the hotel? we can take it for free in gym area
All of them (receptionist ladies are rude & not kind
Once I ask for extending the room for the best rate, she reply with anger
But 2 men on receptionist are so kind

I liked the comfort of the room, new bathroom and the very helpful smiling staff as well as the breakfast room and the nearby supermarket
The view. The coffee machine and the dryer were not working

Room was spacious
Inside air, not fresh! Carpets. I have an account of Hilton honors but was not taken into account upon check-in. I did not understand why!

On a round trip road trip to Florida from Minnesota. Stayed in 10 hotels. A number of higher quality accommodations included an excellent free breakfast. Thought charge was excessive for lesser quality than complimentary breakfasts other places offered
Didn't feel as clean (as other hotels on our trip)
Charge for mediocre breakfast

It was convenient to airport and part of town I was visiting. It's also close to U of Ill and neighboring towns. The hotel was nice and clean. Staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. Decor and ambience was lovely. Breakfast was included in my reservation and it was delicious, especially the pancakes. They have a diner and room service as well but since I was in town visiting family I only had breakfast there.
First, they automatically charged me for parking though I didn't have a car but they promptly refunded me when I pointed out. So check your bill. The rest is so minor and directed to Hilton but the length of the shower curtain drove me crazy. Too long for tucking in during shower but if you leave it out the floor gets super wet. Wish it was just a step-in shower with bench/seat and door instead. Also, guest shouldn't have to pay for bottled water.
