All of the staff were very friendly and helpful.
My room smelled bad. On the second day I noticed mold and by the 3rd day it was several huge spots of mold. When I reported it to the staff I was moved to another room.

This is a great property not far from the U of M north campus and our family. The staff was helpful, welcoming and efficient. The room was great and backed to a quiet courtyard overlooking the pool, which reopened while we were there and was loads of fun. It was also fairly sound proof, even with thunder outdoors, we were able to sleep very comfortably.
We were completely satisfied with our stay.

Nothing
The hotel hasn't properly responded to any messages. Despite promising the reimbursement because of the fire evacuation in the night of Saturday, May 25, they have buried their hand in the sand. Very shameful!

Wonderful service, rooms were clean, and room attendant was amazing!
The restaurant lack a lot to be desired. And it was kind of a bummer the hot tub didn’t work.

Place needs to be refurbished
Needs to be refurbished. They doubled the room rates to take advantage of families attending University of Michigan graduation - $325 a night for a dump

Cleanliness was exceptional.
Could not relax in the lobby after a long day of activities. Simply reading or enjoying the ambience of the hotel stay. The bar crowd was so massively packed all the lobby seats were filled. Therefore, making it difficult to go to the lobby.

Hotel was busy and had an Avis/Budget car rental office which I didn't know about before ,but was fantastic. We were able to do car rental things there, instead of having to drive to the Detroit airport.
It was fine. We were there to see the University of Michigan, so it was a bit of a drive to get back and forth, but that was fine. Just not ideal.

The staff and cookies were delicious.
The bed was terribly uncomfortable.

Location is fine in that it has enough parking, close to fast food, etc.
The hallways, etc. probably could get spruced up, though the rooms are good.

The hotel is nice and the room was nice
The desk staff were less than responsive. It took 2 hours and 3 trips to the desk to get towels
The outdoor pool and jacuzzi were not open ):
The sink in the bathroom didn't work properly

Breakfast was not complimentary; >$16 seemed excessive for the breakfast buffet.
Obvious repairs needed (broken down drywall, etc)

Breakfast was excellent with a good variety of food and the staff were very attentive even though it was a self serve buffet. The room was spacious with good heat control and a decent T.V. Although my stay was short the receptionist made a big impression and I'm annoyed I never got her name to pass onto the management. She was on when I arrived late at night after 23 hours travelling and really lifted my mood with her warm welcome and again greeted me very warmly when I came down for breakfast.
I had a very short stay so wouldn't comment. Arrived at midnight and left at 08.00.
