Less than comfort inn.
The bed.

Loved the indoor pool. Also the lady at the front desk went out of her way to help (thank you).
Did really represent what I saw in pictures.

I liked that the staff were nice.
The place didn’t match the pictures or description. The breakfast was not a breakfast. Today and cereal. Coffee but no cups. No napkins.
2.5 / 5.0
The decor and the fact that I had good TV channels to watch.
The bed was so uncomfortable, the floors were so sticky, and the TV was tiny. Tried to walk around the room barefooted, but my feet got so nasty that I had to walk around with my shoes on. I've never had a bed in a motel slide across the floor every time you try to sit on it. The refrigerator kept coming unplugged, so I'd have to pull the TV stand out to plug it back in. I'm not quite sure it's cute decor was enough to make that room worth over $150! Another thing, for a two floor motel with rooms on both sides, there was only one ice machine. Not to mention the table for you to sit at in your bedroom for you to eat at was an outdoor aluminum table that measured probably 2 ft by 2 ft. Don't get me started on the coffee pot. I kept having to add water to get it to make at least half a cup of coffee. It took 30 minutes for a cup of coffee to make! I went and took a shower and came back and it was just finishing!

I liked the style and atmosphere. Its super close to Eel River brewery.which is a great place. I wish I had remembered my bathing suit because they had a nice indoor pool. Next time I stay there I'm going to walk on the Eel River trail right behind the motel.. It's right off the 101, so easy access., but you don't see or hear the traffic.
My room was a little noisy. It seemed like there was a lot of activity. But that could have just been the particular neighbors, happy kids and a dog; nothing that made me feel unsafe.

The location was convenient and the night clerk on staff seemed apologetic for the inconvenience, but I have to rate everything about the hotel poorly based on what appears to be poor management.
I booked this hotel online while traveling just a few minutes before arriving. The reviews seemed good, so I was expecting a positive experience. The night clerk checked me in and gave me a room key for the ground floor (#128) but when I arrived at the room the door was wide open, and the king-size bed obviously unmade. I went back to the clerk and he assigned me a second room, this one on the second floor (#215) and although the door was not wide open, obviously the bed in this room was also unmade and the room not tidied. At this point, I decided to request a refund and I booked a room at the Best Western a few blocks away. Thankfully, it was clean, ready for occupancy, and comfortable.

friendly staff, very clean, nice lobby
room felt cavernous, vinyl plank floors, no artwork on walls, metal table and chairs, didn’t feel homey at all, a few carpets and wall decor could definitely add some nice touches and color to the room

very convenient location right off the freeway and right next to the river. Upgraded lobby, and the rooms are mostly upgraded except for a few things that are outdated. very nice staff.
I didn’t like that the walls in our room and spots and stains on some of the wallpaper but other than that the room was pretty clean. The pillows were not very comfortable, however.

Good location!
We didn't like the earthquake at 2:34 in the morning! Of course we know it was nature!

Breakfast was nice and simple. Location was close to freeway and attractions.
Incredibly thin walls and had very loud neighbors. Beds not very sturdy.

very clean; nice area for pets; the staff was very accommodating when the TV in my assigned room did not work so he agreed to move me two rooms away; it was very handy to the freeway & easy to get to the center of town
no complaints

Service was great as I had to cancel one of the rooms last minute. The breakfast was more than I expected. The pool was great for the kids.
I think the parking lot spaces were a bit tight but manageable. I did not expect too much and I was pleasantly surprised. The place looks just like the pictures. There were no surprises.

Comfy beds, clean and good bathroom.
The lady who checked us in was rather curt and a little rude. Certainly didn't make us feel very welcome. The breakfast was not anything to write home about.
4.0 / 5.0
Lication was excellent, close to the Avenue of the Giants.
The room was not as clean as it should be. It was rather dark, so they did have dust on furniture and the floor was not swept. When I went barefoot, it was bad.
