The bathrooms need to be updated and cleaned better, the towels had rust stains on them, the tub was slippery, the elevator looked like it hadn’t been cleaned or vacuumed EVER, the curtains need to be cleaned or updated. Also needs better lighting and a full body mirror available. It was very outdated for the price. The pillows were comfortable.

The breakfast was better than I thought it would be! Usually it's a buffet at many hotels, my husband and I liked how it was freshly made and you had plenty of choices. The one suggestion is have fruit like apples and bananas for people to take in addition to the hot meal. The seating area was comfortable as well. The room and bathroom was clean and there wasn't an odor either in the room or the hotel. It's really close (walking distance) to a lot of different restaurants and I saw a pretty decent indoor pool. We would definitely stay there again next time we head to Lubbock.

There was a strange noise coming from the pipes in the bathroom. My husband thinks there was too much pressure building and maybe something was overnighted during construction. We would have asked to switch rooms but we were only there one night for a conference in town. That should be addressed, room 323.

Location

It’s somewhat of a noisy hotel. The people in the room above me were running and stomping in their room late at night and then early in the morning. I got very little sleep !!! Had I known breakfast was less than $20 I wouldn’t have prepaid $35 for it. Not a good value.

Waaaay overpriced for a musty smelling room, I could of stayed at the Overton for a 40 more!! Those prices should totally be lowered!!

Could have been much better.

Location was good for our purpose. Over clean hotel though the facility. Had a nice view.

We arrived around 9:45 in the evening and AFTER checking in was told the water would be off from 10:00 pm to midnight due to water leak. When we went to our room the was also no HOT water. Was very disappointed after long day of travel and 3 people were unable to shower. Also, they knew was 3 adults and only coffee, towels etc for 2 people. When we made a suggestion that in the future they stocked appropriately when they knew more than 2 was going to be in the room was told "can you always COME GET that you need". A customer should not have to do that.

The Courtyard Marriott is a perfect location....clean, inviting, and great customer service!!!

Breakfast was excellent. A wide range of items were offered which is very nice.

It would be nice if the hotel offered a complimentary coffee station with sweet rolls. I do not like Starbucks Coffee...it is way too strong.

staff was friendly. Room was clean.

Room 217 was noisy. Elevator ding and door closing. Damage to window and screen appears someone has broken in. left a concern for safety.

Love staying here!

All staff was awesome! Relocating locally but new place wasn't ready. Work nigjts and everyone assisted us perfect to make sure we could sleep.

Clothes washer was small but cleaned well. Dryer took 2 times to dry.
