The hotel is centrally, located near Pike market and the light rail. The staff was very friendly and helpful with directions. The room was very nice and spacious and clean. I enjoyed the pool and Jacuzzi along with the steam room.
This may not be related to Hyatt, but I did not care for the attached restaurant. I felt slighted by the waitress because I did not want a meal just dessert. I could tell by her expression that the waitress was not happy. After taking my order, I waited for 10 to 15 minutes to receive my dessert which was basically just ice cream. It never came so I got up and left.

It was very convenient to the McCall Hall where we attended the PNW Ballet.
The bath tub was so slippery, that I almost fell. I grabbed a bar to prevent the fall, but I banged my right shin/knee and have a big bruise on the knee. Something should be done to decrease the risk of falls in this bathroom. Remarkably it was rented to us with the brag that it had a tub shower, and indeed it had a handicapped chair, but although I am not disabled, I nearly fell.
There is coffee supplied in the room but the coffee is of very poor quality and the coffee maker was hard to regulate, spilling hot water all over the table. Seriously folks, this is Seattle, and we have so many great coffee bean producers and you had cheap and tasteless coffee??

The location and the room was nice and clean
I was surprised with paying $500 a night to have chipped up furniture. I mean really? I was surprised very surprised for such a expensive and luxurious room to have chipped up furniture. The refrigerator didn't go very cold and the air conditioning heating kept getting warm and then it'd be freezing and warm and freezing
