Great home away from home

Location was great. Amenities were great. Facilities were great.

Would have liked a smart TV or some easy way to access streaming services like Netflix or Disney plus. Also a vacuum to clean up sand we brought in from the beach would have been useful.

Would love to stay here again.

We felt welcomed by the host. The apartment had so many amenities, very comfortable, close to pool and available parking.

It was hot so took some to cool the apartment.

Great vacation condo and definitely recommend.

Convenient location and walking distance to the beach. Good amenities (pool, tennis court), and easy access parking.

For our condo specifically, we wished it had central AC. It was mid 80’s our week of stay. And the bedroom AC’s were barely enough to cool down all the common areas in the unit.

Die Sauberkeit der UNterkunft und die sehr gut ausgestattete Küche, der Pool und der Strand vor dem Hotel.

Die Suite ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, das Insektenschutzgitter zur Terrasse ist sehr schwer zu erreichen und sollte in den Führern gereinigt und geölt werden. Was uns überhaupt nicht gefallen hat, war, dass wir trotz mehrmaliger Nachfrage im Vorfeld nicht die genaue Lage der Wohnung erfahren haben. Es wurde uns ein Meerblick angeboten, aber von der Terrasse aus hatten wir keinen Meerblick. Außerdem waren die Gebühren von Vacasa und Booking einfach zu hoch, denn wenn wir direkt bei Hale Kamole gebucht hätten, hätten wir nur 190 $ pro Nacht, also 760 $ für 4 Tage zahlen müssen. Aber 500 $ für die vermittelten Einrichtungen, da stimmt das Verhältnis einfach nicht mehr. Insofern bleibt trotz vieler positiver Eindrücke, u.a. Summittours zum Haleakala und Paia bleibt ein befremdlicher Eindruck wegen der unangemessenen Provisionen.

Do not stay here

The locationl

The place was filthy. The floors turned our feet black. The shower was outdated and moldy. The AC unit was outdated and insufficient. The bed was old and uncomfortable. The couches were worn and dirty. And the balcony was soft, dangerous and unusable. The walkways to the condo were so old and creaking that we were scared to walk on them with heavy groceries. We left early and checked into a hotel in order to save our anniversary trip.

Great, homely spot that allowed rest and relaxation during our honeymoon to Maui!

Loved the location being in south Kihei, north Wailea area. It was very quiet and close to the Kamaole Sands Beach Park across the street. Parking was very convenient close to our room. The room(s) and floors were 99% clean.

Top blanket on bed had multiple stains and a small tear. Vacasa provided a brand new comforter blanket to us the same day, resolving the issue. There were also ants that found an open package (our fault), but Vacasa provided ant traps which resolved the problem.

Good value for the money. Mornings were quite sunny and pleasant; afternoons were mostly windy and cloudy.

Everything was great. Location, was amazing very close to the beach and local shops.

The location was great, plus it was a really spacious property. Apartment was very well equipped if you wanted to self cater

There were some minor issues with the toilet. It kept getting blocked. But it was a small issue

not easy to review, in stars, this room/house, i will try to split the facility reviews from the company that manages it. room very best 5 of 5 (you cannot have more) ; position: 3 of 5 (not far from shops/restaurants, walking distance); speed of payment 10 of 5 (too much; aftyer payment the company disappear); owner Tom 8 of 5 (very nice gentleman; i knew him because his need); sunset view 5 of 5 ; thanks received from Shanna 7 of 5 (very nice local organizer); in total nearly positive

i hope the company try to graw up, follow/solve those my suggests / issues (of course, i do not accept words in reply, like: apologize. sorry, next time, etc). organization 1 of 5 (too many people work behind, and/but no one follow me ; Veronica, Chris, Robbie, etc: simply disappear...) too much press/stress to send the review 10 of 5 (maybe this company need positive feedback) general info 0 of 5 ( no reply at my several questions/need/dubt: keep money and escape) this is not the proper way to give a feeling to the customers. pls, think about and take decision: i do not want ofend anyone, this is just an help to the company (never mentioned from me)

Wohnung kann für einen längeren Aufenthalt empfohlen werden.

Wohnung sehr gut und zweckmässig eingerichtet. Schöne Anlage mit Pool und Tennisplatz. Schöner Strand auf der anderen Seite der Hauptstrasse. Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten mit dem Auto in paar Minuten erreichbar.

Entweder waren die Nachbaren sehr laut oder die Wohnung ist etwas ringhörig. Das aber nur am Morgen.

Fantastic time, will be back.

This was in a great location right by a nice park and beach. There was a very warm welcome. The property has everything you could possibly need for your stay, from beach towels to sunblock, chairs and snorkeling gear.

Finding the unit in the complex for the first time took a little long. We arrived in the dark, so I'm sure it's probably easier if you arrive in the day.

Not our first time at Hale Kamaole & will definitely come back stay at the site again!

Location was great! Access to the beach, pool and parking lot was wonderful! Also, morning walks on Kihei rd was perfect! Very pleased with the location! Grounds keepers were friendly.

Lighting in the kitchen on the ceiling wasn’t working. There was a sign by the light switch letting us know it was Not working. At night, it was an inconvenience.

Great Location. Room 335 was great - clean and comfortable. Room 242 was not clean - the floor was dirty, and there were a lot of cockroaches, and the A/C cooled the bedroom but not the rest of the unit.

excellent place, bit pricey but Maui is in general

I stayed in 120 and was really happy. nice and spacious m, nice little pool area which was quiet and just a very short walk from the bus stop

ultra picky to say the wifi of my place didn’t quite reach the pool area, but it really was no big deal

Love Hale Kamaole - will definitely be back but will try another unit.

Location is fantastic - liked that there is a kitchen and laundry - liked the pool and the BBQ area. Right across from the beach. Also really nice that they left us 2 small cooler bags for lunches etc, and they were stuffed with cookies, chocolates, nuts, chips etc. :)

kitchen definitely needs upgrading - peeling cupboards... sink and tap really old. Bathroom the same - needs updating - very dark in shower and old. Needs new shower curtain. Only had one beach chair. Wish there was more cleaning products on hand so I could keep up with a clean kitchen and bathroom. Wish all the lights had dimmer switches - only the dining room had dimmer. Need dimmer in bedroom especially. In general, the unit has been kind of neglected - but the location is superb, and if you lower your expectations and don't mind a little shabbiness then it's a fine stay.
