This was my 2nd time staying here. Both times were wonderful. We usually stay in Scottsdale, but there is something special about this place. I love the history, the staff, the spacious rooms and bathrooms, and all the amenities. The grounds are just beautiful. The spa is upscale with a private pool. There are 3 restaurants onsite, room service and a pool bar. We did still go into Scottsdale for brunch and dinner. Didn’t have trouble getting Uber to/from this location. Will definitely come back. I love this resort.
Nothing. Can’t wait to go back.

Bed and pillows were awesome. Roomservice very good. Taco trio was heavenly.
Pool was clean and DJ was fun on Saturday afternoon
Burger at the WBar was very dry and over cooked.
Bacon was so hard I could not bite into it.

Good
Everything was nice

Quaint set up with cabins like quarters, and small buildings all over a campus that reminds me of the movie Dirty Dancing. Restaurant was exceptionally good.
This property needs updating to the room interiors. Very dated and showing signs of wear.

The staff and housekeeping were fantastic.
They work hard.
The only bad thing is the carpet in the rooms is old and worn, it looks dirty. I expected better for what we paid.

Front staff isn’t too friendly , hotel doesn’t have everyday cleaning and the parking is really awful

My rental car was kicked in my last day of the visit by a soldier partying on the property at 5:00 am. Security was there immediately after being called as were two police officers and they were all great; but the incident left a bad taste in my mouth. I was actually going to send my children there for a vacation but now I’m not sure.

The rooms were horrible. Definitely not a reflection of the price. Very out dated and sad decor....I thought this resort might have more luxury rooms...Very disappointing.

Loved the tennis courts and the position of our room on the fairway
Not having china cups in the room and no water supplied in the room. Our desk chair was torn and the window opening did not work

When we checked in, my kid mentioned it was my birthday, so I received a free bottle of wine for one of the restaurants on the property. The room was clean and the cabana service was good.

beautifully maintained, charming aesthetic
not much parking

Nice location.
Some of the things in room for dated and overused. The tv kept flicking in and out so we couldn’t watch TV. The pool was nice but it was also very hot on the day we stayed so there was little relief.

Courteous staff and nice grounds.
Dated rooms and pool was not clean.

The food at the property was really good and when order arrived fast and hot.
The property itself was old and didn’t seem that sanitary. There were walls, doors, and features that were in disarray that need much repair. The carpet in the hotel room was dirty and could use a deep cleaning. I don’t feel I received a four-diamond facility rate stay for the price.

Fairway King room had a nice view of the driving range. Great place to sit and have a morning coffee or an afternoon cocktail.

Great stay for the holiday weekend. Pool server was amazing! Housekeeping was great and quick.
A little miscommunication on location of room. Wanted to be closest to the pool but we got put next to the 18+ pool instead of the family friendly pool. Also, was a hassle to get more wristbands for pool areas with how many kids we had. Not every family is the traditional group of 4. Double check that when booking so you have no surprises when you get there if you have a larger family.
