The property was very clean and in a good location.

The mini-kitchen was great and the small sitting area perfect for our grown daughter to sleep for the night. The bed and pillows were good. Towels were white and soft etc. Staff very friendly.
The breakfast was a huge disappointment. It was a mirror image of what we get when we stay at Best Western. I expected more from a Residence Inn. Maybe I've been out of touch with this "branding" within the Marriott chain. I used to work in management at the O'Hare Marriott so am familiar with the ethos and quality from way back when. I also found the configuration of the bedroom to the bathroom horrible -- who wants to be in bed and watch your partner doing their bathroom duties .. it was odd.

I LOVE Residence Inn by Marriott for my families travel. I have never been disappointed. The staff is great, friendly, helpful, and someone is ALWAYS cleaning something!
This trip; I peeped a gift bag off to the side of the reception area and asked if the staff actually did this for special occasions and they do! They gave my daughter a birthday gift since that is why we were traveling! It eas duper special!
I actually have no complaints about this location!

I liked the location, the staff, the cleanliness of the suite and the hotel as a whole, the complimentary breakfast was amazing, there was a variety of foods. I couldn’t hear anything that was going on outside of my suite, which was nice.
I liked everything.

Pros: Breakfast was o-k-a-y and the facility was clean. Front desk staff were informative and friendly. When room was cleaned, they did a good job. Our room was right beside a freeway but was soundproofed so noise level to minimum.
Cons: Parking was expensive at $30 CDN per day. Room was only cleaned every other day leaving quite a mess between times with 3 adult family members. Had to ask for towels and for them to take out garage on non-clean room day. Pool was very small - the size of a postage stamp and often filled to capacity.

Great buffet breakfast with lots of options. The kitchen in our 2-bedroom suite was fully equipped down to dish soap and dish towel. Although the hotel is close to the freeway, we asked for a room away from the freeway and had no issues with traffic noise.
The carpet in the hallways and rooms had a bit of a musty odor which was easily masked with a bit of room spray. The furniture in the living area of our suite is dated, but well maintained.

I loved how convenient the hotel was to everything. I was able to hop on the freeway and get to wherever I needed to go easily whether it was North Hollywood or more west than that. I loved how big the room was and how the kitchenette also was filled with cups and things needed to cook if one chose to. It was very much a studio apartment, which I was not expecting. At first I was worried my room facing the freeway would be noisy but it wasn't, it was really quiet. I was extremely comfortable the whole time and enjoyed going back after a long, hot day! And the staff were on top of any issues I had!
One issue I had was the AC was motion sensor so the AC kept going off on me during the night and I woke up sweating. I complained to the front desk and someone immediately came up to fix it and it wasn't a problem the rest of my stay! The shower's water pressure was a bit weak, but I'm just being picky. Overall, it's a very good trip and I'd absolutely stay here again.

Was a 15min uber to universal park and Hollywood.
Not much within walking distance, but that's great since it's so quite.
The kitchen was great, but no oven made some things hard to cook.

I did not have a chance to like something, because they have cancelled my booking several hours before my arrival.
when arrived at the hotel they told me that they are sold out - no room for me. although I have called this morning to confirm the reservation. The lady at the hotel even gave me Marriott confirmation number for this booking,
They suggested another hotel which is covered by them. I had to pay for the taxi though.
When I got to another hotel, the room they gave me was for 2 people, not for 3, no breakfast, lower quality.
i am very disappointed. traveling with kids the whole day and receiving such a welcome.

Loved full kitchen. Breakfast was great too.
Insufficient trash receptacles in room for large family in suite. If there was a common dumpster or trash area, we would have gladly taken the trash out ourselves.

first impressions when we arrive @11:30 pm, staff was very helpful and our room is spacious and smells clean. our room was located in the second floor that has direct access to courtyard and outside which perfect for my two dogs. Staff are very friendly and welcoming, breakfast great coffee and plenty enough selection food for breakfasts. Great recommendation to my friends and family!

Great location.
That there wasnt a room ready at check-in time. And was put in front by busy street. Couldn't sleep due to noisy traffic.
