Location, staff, food.

Beautiful location
Too many kids. Property needed upkeep on paint, carpet, etc. Restaurants were mid and boring.
6.0 / 10.0
The lazy river, Starbucks, the layout, the size of the pools, the drinking water placed everywhere
Charging for parking, can’t use the luggage carts, take your car keys when unloading/loading your vehicle at entrance, charging for pool chairs

The view was beautiful
I didn’t like that when I booked this hotel, it was for the lazy river but no where was it obvious that it was closed. We did enjoy the normal pool. We also did not appreciate the parking situation.

Room and staff were amazing.
Amenities were always very clean.
Good restaurants and great service.
Gym was too small and always crowded.

The property was beautiful! The grounds were well taken care of.
The pillows went flat when you laid on them. After a call and email they couldn’t put us on same floor with other family we were traveling with.
I am not a fan of bell boys taking our luggage. I saw carts in lobby with luggage and know one attending to them. They wouldn’t let us use cart and do ourselves. So we made trips to room with our luggage, ice chest & gifts. ( it was Xmas )

Lazy River, close to hiking, and beautiful location
Noises in pipies in bathroom, no hotel transportation, food was expensive and only marginal.

Pretty hills with cactus but way far from everything
Old, needs to be updated

The staff is pretty good the size of the room, and the soundproof rooms are good. Like I said below This resort is just getting old and needs a good facelift
This resort is just getting old the splash pad for the kids is in terrible condition. You have to pay for parking $10 a day but you’re paying top dollar for your room makes no sense. Have a spider in the room on the ceiling. It’s just an old resort needs a good facelift also needs a better mini fridge. And the parking is terrible.

Everything except bathtub drain.
The bathtub drain backup and left some very disturbing water.

j being able to cook off from the heat since our apartment has no pool. not worth the price with rude staff though
friendly staff. softer beds. expected better food for the money is spent

location is excellent, being so close to downtown and the museum/national park. The facility itself is also a gem. Plenty of good views to be found and a nice open architecture to the main lobby and surrounding restaurants and pools. Very nice and feature rich fitness center.
The parking is bizarre. You can pay $25 a night (plus tips) for valet only to have your car parked in an uncovered lot, or pay $20 a night to park in the on-site garage. Come on, this isn’t downtown Tucson, the garage is there on site already. Parking here seems to follow the big city method of charge and overcharge despite being well outside of the metro area itself. Everything else was overpriced as well. At the end of the day the overall cost makes me think the value wasn’t there to justify it at the end of the day.

I like the outdoor seating in the evening with live music
Check in the valet didnt properly tell us we would be charged....didnt tell us we needed a ticket...and parked our truck in hard water all night ruining my paint. Communication was very poor and I was not happy to be charged for the service and my truck not been protected.

The setting of the property is breathtaking overlooking the nearby mountains and the city in the distance. The facilities are top-notch and the staff is very helpful and customer friendly.
I would like to see a bus from the airport to be available to the customers.
4.0 / 10.0
The location … away from the city and the scenic view.
The parking … Being charged a daily fee to park in the guest parking garage that is a little bit of a walk to the hotel rooms and front desk. Check in isn’t until 4:00 pm but the some of business including the Spa services close at 5 or 6 pm.
No complimentary breakfast, not even a continental breakfast. Nothing complimentary for the amount you pay per night and for meals..

The Coyote Golf Course was a lot of fun to play and they even rent clubs
Be sure to book your tee off time before you go. You can do it up to 60 days in advance!
I also liked the pool and the lazy river
Two times members of a business conference took tables and seats away from people staying at the hotel and one of these times half of the dining area was roped off in the Salud restaurant and bar
The kitchen was in consistent with breakfast-sometimes good but other timed did not prepare food as ordered
Expected food at The Grill to be better for a 5 star hotel. This was the opinion of us and our guests
