Breakfast was awesome. Plenty to choose from.
Getting charged for parking in an open lot
3.5
The staff was friendly and the updated bathroom was nice. It was an easy location to travel to and from places, while being in a less busy area. I was glad for the mini fridge and beds were comfortable.
The ac vent was dirty, so I cleaned it up a bit with some hand wipes I had with me. I didn’t like that they charged extra for parking, the breakfast (we didn’t add it), and internet, if you weren’t a member of their club. I had never stayed somewhere that charged for all of those. Also, there is a$35 charge a night to cover any damages, which was cheap for that, but I hadn’t seen that listed when I looked through Booking.com, so it surprised me. It’s supposed to be taken off the charge, though, but not sure how long it will take.

The location was perfect for what I needed
It did not have a microwave
And I did not like that we had to pay $10 a night for parking

nice bathroom comfortable bed
the heat didn’t work froze the whole night

Close to airport about 4 minutes away
Out dated but we was just there to catch a flight early in the morning

Close to the airport
For being a business oriented hotel, and to not offer a free Wife, its kind of ridiculous. They expect you to pay for the wifi in the room.
3.5
The bed was comfortable and like the shower
Didn’t have curtains to make room darker. When you did open the shear curtains you saw the air conditioning system. Did not like paying for parking and the refrigerator was not working.

My conference was great. The ballroom and food were excellent
The hotel is understaffed. Those working seemed over worked. Parking lot is unsafe as multiple cars were
broken into and one stolen - I am told.

location. that is it.
Smoke alarm kept going off at all hours and staff just stated "that happens"
one staff member didn't even know they had a room "142" which we were in.
Cleanliness was awful with a strong odor and half rolls of toilet paper.

No room service (food)

The Night Manager (I checked in late) was super friendly and helpful which set the pace for the entire stay.

location and the grounds were upkept
The hotel is dated. It needs updating in the main common area near the front desk. Several of the chairs are peeling on the seats. The hotel has seen better days. The pictures of Columbus on display throughout the hotel are far outdated. Just simple things like updating the photography goes a long way.
The staff was not overly friendly by any means. on top of that, they had system issues throughout our entire stay. They double charged us, but didn’t have record of the transaction in their system. Leading us to be charged multiple times for the same thing.
Overall, not the best interaction with staff that we have received at a Marriott property. I understand the frustration with the systems being down, but there should be back up options in place to be able to fully service your guests efficiently.
