The hotel has been around a long time and is showing its age. Especially the bathroom.

Nice waiter/bar tender
The staff here is so dishonest, I have been a loyal customer with lifetime gold working towards lifetime platinum. Two times the staff added my Marriott number to appease me, then removed it so I would not get credit for it because I booked it under booking.com. I know this because it showed up in my app and when I walked out the door twice, then it disappeared. These three days earn me platinum status and if I knew they wouldn't have counted, then I would have booked the doubletree for cheaper. I have always gotten credit for the nights, the points I am not concerned about. Shame on the Manager if they are making staff do this, one of the desk clerks told me that at this facility, they don't give you credit, its their policy. This has never happened to me before anywhere. Also, they did not give my daughter free breakfast even though we made the booking for three, that cost an extra 25$. One more thing, we paid 66$ for three sandwiches with potato chips and lemonade at the restaurant. One more thing, the rate went up for two days and did not match what was on booking. Robbery.

not much
they charged a non refundable deposit for a pet that Booking did not tell me about. Also no breakfast and $20 fee for parking on the street. Iam requesting $150 pet fee because Booking or Marriot did not tell me before reserving.

Proximity
We were out in a dark room at the end of the first floor. The room lighting was really bad. I have stayed at multiple Marriott hotels in the last 20 years and this was the worst.

Gaby was so friendly the evening of my check in, she was so helpful and she gladly answered my questions regarding the area since I was there for work.. Josh was very friendly and fast helping me during check out.
Nothing was complimentary in my room, not coffee, tea nor even a bottle of water was offered.. for Almost $200. For one nights stay, a bottled water and a coffee pod would have been nice…

Great location next to Cal State Fullerton. Dropped our daughter off for school and it was extremely convenient to walk to and from campus.
5.0
It was overpriced for the selections they served.
Very disappointing for a Marriott hotel. I had a better selection at a quality inn
You could’ve added a omelet station or more choices.

When I had the TV on at night, I noticed many stains in the bed cover that were only visible with light. One of the fresh new towels we ordered had very noticeable stains.

We did not have breakfast.
Upon check in with my daughter, there was some difficulty locating a room with 2 double beds. The front desk was able to find one, but we were on the main floor, which I found only fair. Clean room, but mediocre location.
The hotel personnel at the front desk as well as the bar area were outstanding!
