Cheap, but I guess you get what you pay for.
The hotel is old, like popcorn on the ceiling old. Which is fine, but the place was not clean at all. The walls in every area I saw at the hotel were nasty. Even in the room my family and I slept in. Look like someone had poured something on one of the walls and let it drip down. The bathroom floor grout looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while either. It was very uncomfortable. Like we showered in our water shoes uncomfortable because the tub didn’t look clean either. The place wreaked of some sort of cleaner as soon as we walked through the door, but nothing was clean. Don’t even get me started on the indoor pool area. Which is one of the main reasons we booked here. The place was so dingy, I didn’t feel comfortable, taking my kids to the pool. Breakfast was not an option for us, the place was just too untidy to eat a meal there. The fridge in our room didn’t work. There were holes in the walls that had been noticeably patched. The lamp switch was broken on one of the lights. The TV had basic cable, but nothing our kids liked. We tried connecting our tablet to the tv, but the tv is so old that the volume was insanely loud and could not be adjusted while our tablet was connected. Not sure why anyone would write good or very good for this place. It was fair, at best.

Breakfast was typical: scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, cereals, juices, and waffles. The pool and hot tub were great. The exercise room looked good, but haha we didn't use it. The staff were great, very helpful, and accommodating when we had to extend our stay. The parking area was safe and secure.
A little bit later for breakfast serving. The cutoff is 9, my wife is a late riser.

Nothing!!!
Place needs some work and cleaning. Ran down looking. Person checking me in wasn't very friendly. It was ok enough to sleep at. Hardly any water pressure in sink faucet or shower. Went to get some ice in the morning and of course the machine didn't work. Worst thing was a HUGE roach on tray with cups and ice buckets, thankfully dead, but nasty around it and you could see the dust rings where hadn't been cleaned for awhile. Mentioned to girl at check out and showed her photos, her reply was "I will tell housekeeping". Not sorry or anything else. Don't recommend staying here.

The pool and hot tub were nice.
The safety bar in the tub was broken. I reported it and was told it would be repaired. It wasn't. Also, I am fine with only having housekeeping every few days, but there should be an easy way to request towels, like a tag for the door. The front desk was too busy.

Almost everything
Location is not ideal. It takes at least 20 min driving to all places of interest, although the truth is there is almost no inexpensive hotel in Dallas that has a good location.

Very nice and clean, the location was not hard to find. The staff was very hard to understand.
The bathtub was rusted with no shower curtain.

The location was convenient and close to our destination.
Our hotel was dirty. There were hairs in our sink, bathtub and on the floor. There were also smudges that I easily wiped off of the same surfaces which made me think it wasn’t properly cleaned. I went to the front desk to ask for a cleaner so I could clean our room. Also, the hallway leading to our room was dirty with lint and debris. It wasn’t as relaxing of a stay because I felt that wherever I stepped, I was getting dirty.
