It was pet-friendly. The lady (owner, I heard) at the front desk was friendly. The pet fee was reasonable, $10 per night per pet.
The plumbing was horrible: The sink took forever to drain, except the last day. The water tank on the toilet had to be checked after every flush, because the flapper would get stuck most of the time, and not let the tank refill. The bath/shower faucet works, but looks like it might come off of the wall anytime. Light can be seen coming through the bottom and sides of the entry door. The sheets were clean, but had suspicious stains. The wooden floor of the bedroom is stained. I did see 1 but (cockroach?) one night when I turned on the light in the bathroom. We empathize with the owners who are trying to make a living, but under the building's present condition, it should not be operational, and definitely not recommended by Booking.com, or any other such service. I suggest consumers spend their money somewhere else, even if trip has to be shortened.

Not a lot to like
It smelled, there were dead bugs and live ones. Roaches in a room should be an automatic refund. Gross. I feel like I need to check for head lice too.
