Great place to stay in Lawrence!

Stayed here for a few nights to help my son move in for college. Great location (right by Target and Walmart) and very easy to get to. Staff was wonderful, room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. AC worked great (convenient for the 100* days) and breakfast was good.

The tub had some peeling and the TV cable wasn't working. Only a few channels would come through. But we weren't there for TV, so not a big deal. :)

Could have been better

The breakfast was very good.

A cleaner carpet. The whole carpet was sticky. The first night, I rubbed the carpet with a wash cloth in 3 places, and it came up black. In the morning, while showering, black came off of the bottom of both of my feet. I asked to be moved, and was told they would call me when a room was available. No call. Just got a letter that night about no stayover service. Wore shoes for the rest of my stay.

I requested a room with just one bed, since I was by myself, and got two beds. It doesn’t matter. it was just waste of r

this was a very quick night stay. the beds were very comfortable and the hallways were quiet!

it was easy to get to from the highway since this was our halfway point of the trip.

There was new cement on part of the parking lot so I wasn’t able to pull under the awning while checking in. I was by myself with three kids so it was a little inconvenient.

Superb

Very clean comfortable room with comfortable beds. Breakfast was open early, had good options, and was hot and tasty. Staff was excellent (when thy were available). Location was very convenient for travelers moving through Lawrence.

We were traveling through Lawrence and this was an excellent option for us right off of Highway 10 a ways south of town. If you need convenient access to the University of Kansas, there are better options but this worked for us. Also, one of two TVs in the room did not work, and because there was only one person on staff, we couldn't get any response from the front desk. Also when we checked out, there was a sign up that the front desk staff were 'helping another guest.' Perhaps the hotel should consider overlapping help during high demand hours to correct for this.

It was a great stay

Breakfast was wonderful but I was really looking forward to a waffle/pancake but it was broken.

The ice machine was up one flight of stairs and clear on the other end

We checked in at 2:30 pm, left at 3 pm to see our son, got back at 10:00 pm and left at 9:30am,

Especially liked that it had a good makeup mirror and a sleep button on the remote

I booked on line, with some site. Couldn't find on any site that I just wanted a king bed. We had a couch and extra TV which wasn't necessary at all and I'm sure I paid extra for it which was my fault but I wished it would have been easier to find a site with better information.

Great location but not too expensive for what we got in return.

The location is great! It was located next to a shopping area, restaurants and the interstate. The beds were very comfortable. Free parking. Front desk staff members were nice. The coffee creamer options at the lobby coffee station were nice.

One, small elevator; very expensive for what we got (total bill was $460 for two nights); the toilet ran off and on all night; the breakfast was lacking; the water was lukewarm in the shower; the bathroom was not very clean (dirt and hair in the tub).

The bed was absolutely awful. Had such a deep pit in the middle. So uncomfortable. Not very clean. Bathroom needed attention. Price for 1 night was shameful.

Disappointing

Room was spacious.

I paid $218 and was charged that. They also charged my card again for $238.00 for possible incidentals. So, 2 room charges were on my credit card and there was nothing they could provide to me to indicate I was credited back the $238.00. Also, the shampoo, conditioner & shower gel were out in the shower. Continental breakfast was all processed, pre-package junk food that I cannot eat. For $218.00 one should reasonably expect protein, or hot food options. At check out, the front desk person could not be found.
