Comfortable room, though kind of an odd layout. The place reminded me more of a cruise ship than a lodge. Reasonably close to things, and easy to locate from the freeway. Check-out staff was pleasant.
The reception staff on arrival seemed rather cold, as if they were doing me a favor. Recited a list of no-nos that didn't apply to the season. Got a "time share" vibe from the place. A false alarm kicked us out for about a half-hour, and staff seemed to have trouble turning the alarm off even after giving us the all clear; had to sit outside because it was just too loud in the room.
4.5
The Lodge is in a great location, with food available both inside the property and within walking distance. The well-provisioned kitchen, multiple hot tubs and in-room fireplace made it extra special.
Our bed was right up against the corridor/hallway wall and the room never got fully dark at night. The bed was very comfortable but it was so big that there was not enough room to wheel the suitcase past it.

The Christie Lodge was very very helpful. We had a event that started at 5pm and even though check in was also at 5pm they were able yo get us into our room early and we made it to our event on time!

location,shuttle stop
no elevator access to room had to haul all of our luggage and ski gear up and down a flight of stairs

Well maintained slopes with great signage!
A more friendly atmosphere of the work crew

Very unfriendly check in person. Another person had to step in to help. Had to walk a very long way to room. Bed was not queen size and very hard. No hot water for shower. Coffee pot and filters but only decaf grounds. No tea bags. No parking had to park couple blocks away in shopping center parking lot and pray we didn't get towed. Should be upfront on website as to the tax rate and fees added to room rate! Bright side of trip was awesome dinner at Mexican restaurant and great breakfast at a diner
4.5
Great amenities. Outdoor heated pool, hot tubs, fire place gathering area, and lots of common spaces.
Too many stairs. Room set up was odd, with the bedroom just inside the front door and the living room and kitchen in the back.

comfortable beds, good price when vail pass closed
construction ongoing made parking garage confusing and additional signage would help guests find their way

All the stairs... Not great for carrying luggage

The beds were comfortable
The staff were on edge and were quick to blame me for simple requests (my rm keys were incorrectly keyed). Also, there are stairs EVERYWHERE. We were on the first floor, but we still had to walk up about 3 or 4 flights of stairs with heavy luggage, it was very difficult for my 70 year old parents.

close to Beaver Village
No Central AC

very clean and quiet, comfortable bed
only one ice maker that was far from our room. a/c was only in kitchen/ living area but a box fan was included to blow the cooled air to the bedroom.

Room latout was nice, the murphy bed was comfortable
The pool and hot tub closed at 10. We had some issues checking in (the property didn't have our reservation and we had to call Booking.com to fix it) this took 40 min and by then it was 10 so we didnt get to have a soak after our long day of travel.

The Christie Lodge is immaculate. It is surrounded by beauty. They staff is extremely accommodating. My dog even feels welcomed and comfortable. Highly recommend as a pet friendly environment.. ❤️🐾
Had my room had a bathtub, but I didn’t ask, therefore no problem.
4.0
The Christie was a perfect spot to base out of. Close to everything in Avon. The room was tight for 3 people but totally comfortable. Loved having a kitchenette in the room for snacks and breakfast. The layout of the hotel was odd but not confusing.
My only complaint is that one of the two indoor hot tubs was cool.
