Not worth the price

Location was good. Close to the beach.

I stayed at better places for less $$. Room was subpar. Clogged bathtub. I unclogged it myself and it was a big wad of hair. Toilet handle kept popping out. Had a sofa bed that I wasn't able to fold in. Called front desk and no one came to correct it. Had to go to desk the next day and speak with someone directly. No one serviced the room, so floors were left dirty with sand and no broom to sweep it up. Mattress lumpy.

Nice place to rest after a long day. Conveniently close to the beach and Virginia Beach nightlife.

I didn't know that breakfast was available. If the reception desk would have given that information at check-in, we definitely would have utilized it. It was nice to have a mni kitchen in the room, I made breakfast and a late lunch during our stay.

It would have been nice to have maid service come to clean our room while we were away for the day. This one is small, but would have helped a lot; the clothing iron got hot, but the steam was not functioning, so I wasn't able to get a good ironing on my clothes.

Location was great, But the room not so much.

The location was great. It was within walking distance of downtown, but away from the party scene.

Our room smelled like stale smoke and we could not get rid of the stench. I even purchased several wall plug-ins in hopes to get rid of the smell, but it did not help. The trash can smelled worse than the actual room! It was beyond sour smelling when we changed the trash. Overall, the cleanliness of the room was not great.

Close to the beach. Comfy bed.

A/C stopped working, room temp was 77.5F and we're told there's no maintence worker at night, no electric fan either so at least we can sleep. Thankful for the outgoing staff who knew how to reset the A/C. Housekeeping knocked at our door at 8AM telling us that we're supposed to check out(reminded her that check out is at 10am.) Needs soundproofing, can hear conversations on the next door, everyone talking on the hallway. Water supply randomly stopped without any notice.

As much as the elevator sucked, it was a little entertaining watching everyone be fumed.

I liked the restaurant underneath, it was nice to get ice cream. It was a pretty good location to walk around very easily.

The parking garage was absolute crap, that caused so much stress. The girls at the desk said we could park where it said “vsa” if we did not want to park in the garage but nothing said “vsa” anywhere. The girls at the desk were not helpful at all. I asked about the shuttle and they said they had no idea how it worked when there is a literally an app they could have mentioned. Also the elevator was awful.

Pleasant

Location was great.

We went there more so to enjoy the pool and the beach. The pool was inoperable, so that really put a damper on the weekend getaway. The room floor was dirty, and it smelled like old seafood.

Proximity to the beach. Space in each suite, kitchenette with all utensils pots pans etc

Elevators and parking garage. Only two elevators left you waiting. Parking garage was very tight and pillars affected just about every space.

Entirely too over priced.

First get to the room and I sweep up a pile of dirt and sand as big as the dust pan is a bit unsettling. The bath tub had stains and a bunch of mold. It didn't feel fresh or clean. Just make it smell nice and it would have. For $1800 for only 3 nights.... it was a bit disappointing. The utensils in the room were very poor quality. The plates were stained and we weren't sure if they were even clean. Slow elevators. A/c didn't go below 70 degrees. But hallways were 90degrees... Towels and toilet paper were not brought to you as a guest, you had to go get them. Again for the money I expected a more luxury stay. Guest want to feel like royalty when they spend $1800 on 3 day stay...

All in all we had a great stay.

The room was great. Affordable for a holiday weekend, close to the beach, clean, full kitchen… The staff was super friendly and helpful.

The bed wasn’t very comfortable. The indoor pool was freezing cold. Parking garage, the columns were placed kind of weird making parking difficult.

Room didn’t look that clean, bathroom was dated and looked worn (caulk peeling around shower & sink), parking was minimal and hard to find a spot, and pool closed to kids at night and that’s why I booked here so we could use it at night after being out all day. Very expensive for the weekend.

Never stay here again

I was so disappointed I took my family to beach room floor were dirty when I called to ask to clean floor she said I had to pay a $65 housekeep fee I ask to speak to management so they got someone to clean it . They need a serious upgrade bathroom had mold n corner of wall I would never stay here again so disappointed

1 of my rooms was not clean I was then moved the tv didn’t work the tub stopped up the heat did not work and in my other room there was a bad smell that was there the whole time no matter how many times I sprayed the pillows were hard

I didn’t have a balcony and I requested it and I didn’t like every time I went outside I had to use my key to get back in also didn’t like when you first come in the room one of the bedrooms was right there I came with my kids didn’t like that they had to sleep right where the door was at I didn’t want no one to knock and my kids try to open the door the beds should have been in the back
