CLose location to town. The ocean is really rough and I did not see anyone get into the water even though the Hotel is next to the ocean. Breakfast was over priced $100 for two people.
Staff very rude when we checked in. Throughout our say. If you asked a question about the Island what to see it felt like we were annoying them. .

The pool and the easy access to the beach from the hotel, however, the water is not swim-able.
I was able to walk out of my room a short distance to the beach to witness the sunrise.
My "garden view" room looked out to a wooden fence-like structure that was painted green. On the other side of it there was a vacant lot which was occupied by several encampments. I could see these encampments from the view right outside my room.

The staff were great and the rooms were nice .
The dinner restaurant wasn’t the best food

I liked the large room with high ceilings, the king bed, the little lanai and the ocean view. The service was very friendly with lots of Aloha. I loved the great price we got booking on Priceline. I also loved the convenience of the open parking lot, with parking included with our stay, along with the Longs Drugs right next door and the convenience of the location in Kapaa.
Coffee at breakfast in the hotel and in the room wasn’t that great, however there are a lot of other coffee shops on island (including Starbucks and local coffee shops nearby) that we visited.

Beautiful hotel right on the beach. Wish we could have stayed longer!

It is a good location with a great pool and outdoor areas
The reception staff were not friendly, totally disengaged and it was if they worked for another company to all the other staff. we were not greeted in a friendly manner. No one offered to assist us with our bags or how to get to our rooms. We booked a bookings.com package that included breakfast and the reception staff told us this was a mistake and would not be honoured. WE had to ask for a manager before it was settled. During our staff we saw the reception staff in a loud argument with another guest and heard another couple complaining about how rude the reception staff had been. Was not a great way to start our stay. The other staff were lovely.

I didn’t get to stay there
I was told it was over booked so didn’t get to stay there .

Views were beautiful. The room was clean, and comfortable. The staff was accommodating and helpful. Breakfast was indeed NOT included for 10 cents. It is an error from booking.com that hasn’t been fixed.
Chicken sandwich at the crooked surf I do not recommend!! Prices at the coconut market (5 min walk) are reasonable for food and has greater variety.

Confortable beds, well placed hotel.
Staff could have been more helpful by giving us more directions and the available facilities (restaurants, pool, bar etc), no one accompanied us to the room at arrival.

Room was lovely and we had a beautiful view of the ocean from the room. Bed was very comfortable and the room was always clean.
The servers at the restaurants were slow and it was difficult to get their attention. We often waited a long time to put in our order and then to get our check. We generally had to find a waiter to ask for help. The food for breakfast was delicious and the more casual restaurants were really good. The food at the expensive dinner restaurant was disappointing.

Roaches in our rooms, crawling on the bathroom
mirror, on our walls, and ceiling too. Hotel came and killed the ones they saw one day but it was an ongoing issue. Tried to book at another hotel but everything was booked for spring break

The room was nice. The staff was friendly, especially the coffee shop ladies. I appreciated the cleanliness of the property.
The pillows were awful. No support at all in the pillows. I was told I had a garden view and it turned out that garden view means some plants right next to the parking lot which was my main view. I did not like that the front desk staff often seemed distracted if another staff member was helping someone else. That was not worth the price of the room.
Checking in and out the front desk clerks seemed distracted and had to ask more than once what they could help me with. Having worked in customer service, I have high expectations of the level of service, including having staff that is present in the moment.

Location and view. One of the hotel restaurants was really nice. The staff was very nice.
Roaches everywhere. Roaches in the bathroom, bedroom and even in the hallway. Continental breakfast was $32 per person extra. Not worth the money. $85 with tip for two people to have omelets and fruit. Ridiculous! Resort seemed dated and dirty.

The location was great. The landscaping was maintained and beautiful. Staff was helpful.
The part of the building we were in you could access from the parking lot, side door. What bothered me was this door was always open. I felt security could have been better.
