it was close to Toyota Center where our event was.
the pictures on the site are VERY VERY DECEIVING!!! for example I don’t know where they got THE ABOVE PICTURE FROM because I saw NOTHING that even RESEMBLED this photo!!!! the facilities were “clean” not the quality of the rooms were very very low grade and just yuck!!! We were told there was a breakfast offered when there wasn’t and we were told that we could have a late checkout and there was nothing of the sort either! I was just barked at my the front desk saying “NO WE DONT HAVE LATE CHECK OUT!!! “ then HUNG UP ON!! The surrounding area was full of random transients/loiterers. we did not feel safe and just felt very un inviting. we are never above staying at motels but we have stayed at way more accommodating and more clean and safe. This was not worth our money. thank goodness we didn’t book more than one night as a precaution and we were able to leave to a close by competitor and stay the rest of our stay and actually ENJOY!!!

there‘a a walmart right across the street
the place is run down. never upgraded anything but the lobby. the rooms look like they haven’t seen any upgrade in about 10-20 years. i was locked out of my room by anti-burglar-bar that engaged itself due to the heavy curtain that pushed against it sideways. it had to be removed with an angle grinder late at night. horror-trip. the neighborhood is not one of the best in houston.

The room and the neatness
The staff were disrespectful asking us to leave the waiting room because they wanted clean while guest staying in your hotel was having coffee waiting to be picked by taxi then standing outside like a stranger in a property you are supposed to be part off hmmm sad by 8 am also asking people to leave by 3:50pm that the waiting room will be closed by 4pm

4.0 / 5.0
Easy access from metro (rt 28)
But the 28 shuts down early
Rt 40 is near by but runs until late
Many restaurants and fast food places in easy walking distance
40 gives access to HEB at Gulfgate and many stores and More food locations
28 gives access to hospital district and red line And to green line trains to downtown
Across street from Wal-Mart
Wish microwave was larger
No fm radio / alarm
Would have liked a brighter lamp that could be used by old eyes to read
None of this was a hardship but you asked no get the metro app

The location was in good perimeters to alot of the places I wanted to go.
The desk person was mediocre in how she dealt with me.

You have what you paid for. It has a nice and big TV, no more than that.
When we arrived, like 6 pm they have the enter to the lobby closed and they attend you through a window at the outside of the building. It was no so cold, but when you arrive in winter, this situation wont be nice for the customer.

inexpensive, close to downtown
toilet didn't work, mostly clean, but noisy all night. thin walls allowed all noise from street in with window closed.
2.0 / 5.0
It was cheap and near a lot of restaurants and stores.
The beds were hard, there were ticks biting and the shower broke the first day. Also the WIFI was out the whole 3 days we were there
