The convenience to local attractions.
the breakfast was great with many selections. the Restaurant food was delicious. Staff is friendly and very helpful.

Property is centrally located and easy access to for all Monterey area activities. Room and common areas clean. Staff was exceptionally helpful and went out of their way to help make our 20th anniversary special.
The only issue with our room was that the drains in the sinks and tub were slow to drain. The hotel did quickly send someone to unclog the kitchenette sink though. Very responsive. Dog relief area is not lit at night and seems to be used by transients, possibly. Too scary for me to take my dog there at night or early morning, so had to let him relieve himself closer to the hotel entrance.

We stayed here July 2024, and this is by far the best hotel we have ever stayed at! The staff was super friendly, as soon as we checked in we were received with a friendly smile and a lot of perks! We got a little welcome bag with waters and king size candy :) we also got complimentary drink from 5-7pm which were amazing! Our room was beautiful and clean very spacious. The pool is warm and the gym equipment is 10/10. The following morning we got the complimentary breakfast and that also was very good . Can’t wait to stay at this hotel again :)

Great suite over looking the park/lake. Safe neighborhood & park to walk dogs in. Close to Starbucks, shopping center & restaurants ( Chili's & IN & Out burgers). Microwave & refrigerator 👍 Great complimentary breakfasts & evening cocktails/reception. GREAT STAFF. Silver Tide restaurant food is good.
Not enough luggage carts. At check in, staff tried to charge an Extra daily fee for an upgrade request. "Which was the balcony bay view". Had to show My
Confirmation which specifically showed the original purchase of the balcony bay view at booking. Staff apologetic and honored the confirmation receipt.

We really like the size and furnishing arrangement of the hotel suite and the lobby. The breakfast was excellent. The staff members were very friendly and helpful.
The hotel price was higher than we would like. The coffee pot size could have been bigger. Given how much we were paying for the stay, we had hoped that the suite would have been equipped with glass cups/coffee mugs. Instead, all cups were made of disposable paper.

Cleanliness
Swimming pool is too small. It’s always crowded and we couldn’t enjoy the pool

The staff was amazing, very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was better than any I’ve had in my travels . I Would definitely stay again for the Monterey Bay aquarium and wharf !

The breakfast was great! And the happy hour was excellent. It was very family friendly and in a great location. We will definitely be staying again!
Room service daily made our beds but did not remove dirty dishes or pick up trash that was outside of the trash can which seemed a little odd. This was only a minor complaint

Location great, shares parking lot with chillis restaurant. Super close to aquarium.
Windows were a little older, dirty no jacuzzi but thats it

Spacious suite, lively energy in the central area gives a nice community vibe. The breakfast was decent and had sufficient options.
There are extra charges. This included $20 parking, that booking.com didn't mention in the "total price". Front desk also didn't mention this charge. Also an amenity charge of $15 that you are required to use daily in credit, in either the restaurant or very over-priced store.

Brea was fantastic and the staff could not have been nicer!

Breakfast was hot and plentiful. The evening snacks and drinks were nice. Location is convenient.
The rooms were a little outdated and musty. They charge a parking fee, yet they collect a fee to use the hotel. I also did not feel the rooms were worth $700-$1000 a night.

Everything was good!

Love the decor of the place and glass wall elevators. Staff was friendly and helpful. Short 10 minute walk to the beach. Pretty good breakfast choices offered.
Room was cramped for the price. We reserved for 6 people and utilized the fold out couch which pushed right up against the table, very little room to manuever. Pillows thin and uncomfortable. Bathroom had a barn door style door that had a huge gap where it should be flush against the wall when closed, and no way to lock it.

Breakfast, indoor pool, 15$ credit per night, bed comfort
Living room couch could be updated and some furniture as well.

We stayed with 5 in a family room, the kids were sleeping in the sofa bed which was not set up.

The provided breakfast was exceptional
Rooms are not cleaned and restocked daily- you have to ask for more coffee towels etc- information about amenities not readily available - requires some digging

All about the happy hour, breakfast omelets and balcony views!
It's just pricey

Breakfast spread was great. Indoor pool was good.
Rooms were not allotted close. Bedding for the sofa bed had to be requested for, instead of being provided at arrival

The air-condition was not working and the room is so cold. They came to fix twice but still not working. We want to change room but gave us a portable heater. The lighting of suite living room was very dim and the sofa is uncomfortable. Parking is $20 per night. Will not revisit. The most expensive hotel for my California trip and gave the worst experience among all the hotels. In general the facility is old and bad.

The breakfast 😋 the beds was so comfortable
The staff at the reception did not smile, I do not know why, it is something unusual
We also had a $15 card they didn't mention we had to use it only the first day we learned that when we switched to use it before leaving

Staff was very friendly. Complimentary happy hour was unexpected and great! Breakfast had many options. My family had a great time.
The air conditioning didn’t work. The fan was on all night and the temp stayed at 76 not up or down, it got really humid. And No Bathroom Fan!! When you travel with family it’s a must!😄

The room was spacious and in working order. I appreciated the amenities of a microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, iron and ironing board.
The bathroom had hair in the bathtub and on the floor. Otherwise the room was clean.
