My stay was okay it did what it did which we just wanted a room closer to the beach since we live in Avon . Did not appr

It was a nice scenery outside during night time , It was nice hanging out in the gazebo with the lights during night .

The rooms were not cleaned at all , There’s was a white substance on the table with a room card as if someone was doing drugs in that room before I bc checked myself and my kids in for the night . Or whenever it was done it simply was not cleaned .

Very disappointed!

There was no breakfast!….it was implied that breakfast was included in the price of the stay. When I checked out, I had to pay for breakfast elsewhere before my return drive to Albany, NY.

Very good

We have stayed here more than once. Love it in the summer. My kids love coming here because of the pool. This stay was very nice even without the pool. Very quiet and relaxing. Have our summer trip already booked 🙂 The only thing missing was a bathtub. We had only a shower in room.

Don't waste your money.

Nothing at all.

Noone was at the front desk. It smelled like Marijuana. There was no place to plug in my phone. The bathroom plug did not work for blow dryer. The hotel lost power at 10 pm. I felt unsafe. It advertised breakfast. There was nothing.

Not worth the trip.

Breakfast ok but not a large enough area. 3 small tables. I booked through booking.com while I was looking for eastern LI area. It directed me to Old Saybrook and I didn’t realize it was Ct. the booking was not cancellable so we took the 3 hr ride just for overnight trip. Lots of traffic going home, 4 hours. Towels in hotel not clean enough and corners of old carpeting needed vacuuming. Stains on carpet also.

Too far for overnight trip and towels not clean enough. Hotel needs updating.

you get what you pay for.

we were only staying here for one night, just passing through on our way home. we liked the location, close to several restaurants and a Walmart not too far away. no carpet in the hotel room which was nice after seeing the carpet in the hallways. overall, I would stay here for one night passing through like we did but I wouldn’t stay here for any longer. I’d pay extra to have the comforts of another hotel.

this is an old property and it’s easy to see that. it smells old and also like cigarettes. the carpet in the hallways looks old and grungy. it’s very loud. walls are paper thin you can hear everything, even through my ear plugs that I use for sleeping. it also just kind of feels “dirty”.

Room was clean

Smell of room was awful. Smelled like stale cigarette smoke. No breakfast as advertised. Threadbare towels. No coffee pot in room. Squeaky bed. Lousy mattress.

Room had a dehumidifier due to mold

That they refunded me and the front desk clerk was amazing and very kind

It was the last room Room they had and it had a mold odor and dehumidifier in the middle of the floor .
