That we were able to cancel the booking
There was mold growth on the wall, the walls were wet. The new mattresses going in were used and under a tarp outside. They smelled pretty terrible but that smell could have been coming from the rooms. The second room we were given didn't even have electricity. The owner was kind enough to tell me I could choose between the 2 available rooms. Mind you the 1st one recked of bug spray, had rat poo and what looked like a bad case of an infection ready to happen. If you value your life and health, run away!

Room was clean and room had lots of space.
Ice machines did not work. Took a long time for room to cool down. Guy that checked me in was not very cheerful and kind of grouchy.

Property is extremely dated

The room had 2 comfortable queen beds, a very clean and large bathroom with sink area.
There wasn't a bathroom door, only a curtain

Looked cute from the photos....but...
Cock roaches, mice or rat poop in the drawers, bathroom not cleaned from previous people, no bathroom door, the curtain was filthy dirty. It smelled...and we got two rooms. Both were equally disgusting. Told I would get a discount due to "construction". I did not....

It was shelter for the night
The entire lobby is crammed full of house plants (as are the handicap parking places) and the man checking me in had some sort of cream all over his face when he came to the desk. He proceeded to answer a phone call and take care of that person while I stood there waiting. The place is a dump. The shower had no pressure, the noise from the interstate is awful, one of the lamps didn't work. The phone starting ringing every few minutes for a minute at a time starting at 10 AM and did not work when I picked it up. Then they knocked on the door. I assume they were trying to harass/hustle us out by the 11 AM checkout time. We had to leave the TV and AC on overnight to mask the interstate and crying baby next door noises. The room was surface clean, but don't open any drawers. Gross. There was an ironing board, but no iron. Their ice machine is off due to local COVID restrictions, but they did offer to reimburse me for ice I purchased if I brought them a receipt. I love to save a buck more than the next guy, but I will happily pay an extra $50 the next time to avoid this weird little slice of skeeve.

Nothing. It was the worst hotel experience I have ever had.
I have a photo of our room. It was next to a busy freeway. I mean 2 yards from the freeway. There were many Other rooms not
On the freeway. We asked to be moved and we’re told no even though parking lot was empty at 3 pm. Moldy, dusty, dingy with rude staff that could care less about our comfort. We had an old bicycle and old air conditioning unit in our room. It was like a storage closet for all the junk that no longer worked.

Nothing
The man at the front desk was extremely rude. We are never coming here again. There was a foul smell in the lobby too.

The location was decent probably when it was built. But not anymore
The service staff was very friendly. Nice people working maintenance and house keeping. I'll give them that
It is difficult to get into in that the parking lot is very small and filled. The rooms were dirty we found dead roaches in the drawers.
Rooms are dark and dingy, bed sheets had holes in them. And bed was wore out.
Lobby I cluttered full of fake plants, no breakfast.

Must admit, since the hotel is going through a lot of changes it was kind of a mess, but it was nostalgic and interesting. I can't wait to see what it looks like after the upgrades.
It was being refurbished and kind of a mess. Extra equipment was organized and the staff were very friendly. Oh, our hoar dryer did not work.

A LOT of roaches. Also, the Uber driver informed us the hotel is serving as a halfway house, explaining the criminal element and people hanging around the building. Everything was filthy. Bed over had a fresh, "organic" stain on it and had to have them provide a washed coverlet. Blood-stained pillow was simply put in a pillowcase. The pillowcase slid off, showing the stain. Roaches were swarming the bathroom light, so it looked like the light was flickering. Lamps didn't work, so the room was DARK.

beds were hard and uncomfortable
felt unsafe for the family. Woke up several times in the night because my vehicle alarm went off.

I loved it. Quiet, cozy and clean. I enjoyed my stay completely.
