I believe they are the new owners and are still renovating, but NO COFFEE!!!

Beds were comfy

COFFEE was not served for breakfast (Coffee in your room, with dirty coffee pot!) Got charges for using card and not told until it went through.

Horrible, will not be back again and will not recommend.

Practically nothing! The bed was about the only thing that was good.

Everything! The place didn’t seem like owners took pride in their hotel. Room smelled like mold, didn’t look like it had been cleaned, the bathroom sink was cracked, tub was dirty, sofa was disgusting.

The location was great, hotel not so great.

The location was great, close to stores and restaurants

Apparently they were remodeling the entire place and it was in pretty bad shape, even had tack strip only on the floors in the hall. When we got there couldn’t find our room they mis numbered it.

Horrible, disappointing and ruined our stay , I will never recommend it.

The counter person was rude to my wife and told her she will charge us more for our room when she ask for extra shampoo and conditioner and extra towels since there were only one of each a room Shampoo and conditioner and had only 3 towels in a room with two queen beds and a sofa bed reserved for a total of 5 people.

It’s ok. Not for sure if it’s worth the money.

The beds were comfortable and it was clean enough in the room. The woman running the hotel is very sweet.

The property is old and outdated. Many stains along the hallway and roof was leaking with a bucket put down to catch the drips. Pool was dirty. Breakfast is only fruit/cereal/bread and peanut butter and muffins. Also, there was a couple large stains on the bed skirt and mattress. Upon further inspection you can tell they don’t deep clean. Also, we stayed for a couple of nights and requested our room by clean with the door hanger. When we came back, the door hanger was flipped to do not disturb and no one ever came to clean.

The people that ran the place were very friendly and they made sure you were happy with the room and the service. They spoke very friendly to people. The place was clean.

A little short on the variety for the free breakfast. So never ate there.

Good location, quiet and comfortable stay.

The location is perfect for getting most anywhere in New Braunfels. The room was clean, quiet, AC worked well. The bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly.

The room had a faint, but detectable cigarette odor. The hallway had a musty smell. The breakfast consisted of toast, cold cereal, muffin, fruit juices and coffee.

I have stayed in $40/night hotels that were nicer than this.

The hotel was muggy when we arrived (they said they were cleaning the air conditioning system) and the entire lobby was in disarray. The room was atrocious, and hadn’t been cleaned prior to us getting the keys. There were half empty beer cans behind the nightstand, was a hole in the ceiling in the hallway with a bucket catching whatever was dripping out of the hole, the toilet seat looked like it had dried pee all over it…I could go on and on (and have pictures to show all of this. The kicker for us though was the roaches…that was it for us. We booked another hotel and left.

NOTCA DAMNED THING!

Absolutely horrible! So many things wrong...toilet would not flush, lights weren't't working, ac was iffy . The facility did non have secure doors at night...or any other time but operator said it was very VERY safe. We left as soon as we woke up and there was no one at the desk at 6 a.m. do not send anyone there! It should be a felony to allow THIS facility to be listed... this was 1st time of using booking .com! WILL NOT make same error again!

first they charged an extra fee for using a credit card to pay for the room. I called multiple times to the front desk for clean towels and no one answered. there was what seemed like a dead insect on the restroom.floor.

Thought the beds were comfortable and the room was clean (there were a couple things I mention in the "didn't like" section, but I would still consider it clean). Quiet and safe. They are even flexible about pool hours if you are quiet. They allowed us to checkout later in the afternoon for a very reasonable price (I like to ask for this morning of checkout to see how accommodating a place is, when they aren't busy).

I told them I had a service animal and didn't charge pet fee but did charge cleaning fee. Im not gonna get into the rights and wrongs of that, just be aware, if that's something you're gonna fight, probably just book someplace else. The door to our room had a weird laminate patch in the middle of it and it was kinda warped in the joints and where the locks screwed in. You could see the inner woodish stuff. Like I said, the room was clean, but the bathtub had some stains and scratches (not like disgusting ones). We had to plug the drain with a washcloth to take a bath and if you looked up the ceiling paint was puffing and peeling with a patch. There were also 2 large chunks of wallpaper torn off on each side of the mirror (again you have to look up). At eye level it was great, except for the drywall dust on top of the hair dryer. I did see them working on another room close by, so maybe this one is on the list too. I wrote all that off no problem because i was in a dog friendly room, until I remembered I paid a cleaning fee with no argument or complaint for a service animal. So no write off there. Floors, carpets, and beds were still good though. My kids were really bummed about the pool/hot tub. The hot tub was cold and broken and the pool was too cloudy for them to swim in (take note that it was my children that made that determination, not me). It was milky, but I didn't have to say a word; it was a no go. Because pools are the reason we pick a hotel, we probably won't be back.
