Could be better

Check in was fast. Hot water for shower

This is a dated hotel that needs updating. The outside looks fine but the interior definitely needs to be redone. The shower head was clogged and the mattress needed to be replaced or rotated. The rugs are worn. The coffee maker was on a tray on the counter. I pulled the tray out and there was coffee between the tray and the counter, definitely hadn't been moved while cleaning the counter. Breakfast was very basic, cereal and yogurt.

Very pleasant facility, nice staff, easy to book online.

Convenient to the freeway for our long-distance road trip across the country.

Young children running around the lobby at midnight, and smashing Cheetos in the elevator. Not sure how staff could have controlled this better, but it wasn't an attractive scene to encounter when we checked in very late and exhausted.

Would highly recommend this hotel, ' clean' comfortable beds' great staff.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean and quiet. Easy access to the area.Great place to stay this will be our 4th time staying at this hotel.

No hot breakfast available. Kitchen was closed during our stay.

Everything was nice, the pool was disappointing

hotel itself was ok. hotel’s facilities were dirty

this is my first opinion of any hotel/ motel. we stayed there for the indoor swimming pool however the water was dirty, with flock of hairs floating on the surface. the area around the pool was dirty as the water itself. do NOT recommend. the restaurant served us a burned burger.

Very good

The breakfast was ok. It was fast and readily available because we were heading out on the road but needed more choices. The selection of fruit was good.

There could have been more variety. Some pastries would have been great since some people don't eat eggs. It just seemed to be a little lacking in choices for the price of the room.

More polished in the communal areas when compared to other hotels in the area, but needs room update

Shutters (relatively) recently appears to have renovated their facade and lobby, which makes it far more welcoming and upscale-looking than other properties in the Elko area. The lobby restaurant was pleasant and the food was good with a kind and accommodating staff.

The rooms, unfortunately, do not appear to have been renovated. They were about what you expect given the nature of the facility (hotel off the freeway), with some noted wear including concerning water damage (potentially mold) in the bathroom. They offered a rollaway bed at our request, which was very uncomfortable and rickety. The beds were generally small for a family (two double beds rather than queen or kings). These things might not have stood out, however when you compare the updated facade and lobby to the rooms, it is very noticeable.

My stay has been wonderful each time I have stayed with you! I am on my third visit.

It feels like home and the staff feel like friends. I love your facility and the location is great with it being right off the freeway. Prices are comparable if not better than the average. Now days....that is a bonus to find.

I didn't find anything that I would change. The lobby is bright and cheerful and is a welcome site when traveling.

The lobby was nice. The room was clean.

The room we were in was loud, had no view. We were given a room above a machine/mechanical room that made the room felt vibrating. The toilet seemed like to overflow every time you flash the toilet.
