A bit high cost for weekend .
3.2
Location and the staff were great
The facilities were very dated and dirty. And the lobby smelled disgusting. Also your bathrooms are ridiculously small.
3.2
friendly staff
the toliet seat was peeling and stains on side of seat
3.2
Good location, staff were nice.
Hotel is very tired now, and in desperate need of an extensive remodelling. The room cleanliness was also lacking, with visible dirt on the coffee machines. The staircase going up to the restaurant seemed to have some leaking plumbing above it, with a strong odour of urine and plenty of liquid on the floor, which I assumed was the source of the smell, but did not attempt to verify.
I had stayed here 13 years ago, at which time it was a nice hotel - time has not been kind to this place.

We love the location and the pool and hot tub!
We were sadly disappointed that the new restaurant atop the hotel was not even close to as good as the Apostle Supper Club. Average food and the new decor…..not as nostalgic. The service was great!
3.2
Location of hotel is good, easy to find food choices. Restaurant in hotel serves good breakfast, staff was friendly. Good view of the vicinity area and harbour from hotel restaurant.
Rooms and facilities are a little old. Some facilities not working well.
3.2
Not much.
The price quality ratio was not good. The hotel furnitures seems very old and the room was not clean. We found pubic hair on our bed, we noticed sweat-stained areas on the pillow, the carpet was not clean.
3.2
The location was great and beautiful scenery.
The morning restaurant crew need an attitude adjustment…we waited for over 10 minutes and no came and waited on us…. So we left and checked out…
3.2
There was no complimentary breakfast. Location was good but it was not free
No complimentary breakfast rooms were filthy pool was filthy bathroom was extremely small and inadequate and dirty
3.2
I was happy about everything. It was a great place to stay.
3.2
Very dirty place will never stay again
The rooms, hallways and elevators were extremely dirty and will never be back
3.2
Enjoyed the view from the revolving restaurant.
The heating/cooling system was very LOUD, VERY LOUD.
The Bed was a very narrow Queen, not a standard Queen.
3.2
I pretty much like the location restaurant was cool understaffed very little to choose from..
The second floor is really not that clean the restaurant next to nothing to choose from poor service understaffed
3.2

The location was in the heart of duluth and had great views.
Overall, this hotel has seen better days. Everything was just a little rundown. They no longer have housekeeping every day. But the front desk was able to give me extra water, shampoo etc.
3.2
location
very outdated, air conditioner in room sounded like a Mac truck, tv wouldn’t work kept freezing up on screen, check in staff never told us about restaurant opening up
3.2
The beds were comfortable, there was a fridge and microwave in the room, and you could control the temp of your room (and actually make the air conditioning cold). Free and easy parking was nice!
The bathroom is outdated (but not horrible), the shower water temp would go from hot to cool constantly, the ice machine was out on our floor.
3.2
The ease of checking out of the hotel.
The location of the hotel.
There were stains on the ceiling and floor.
There were cracks in the mirror in the bathroom.
We had to request additional pillows because the ones provided were too small.
3.2
Excellent view and location, the room was great, bed very comfortable.
3.2
location good
very dirty. Stained carpets, ceiling, etc. VERY expensive. $900 for two nights is outrageous for this very old property.
3.2
Comfortable beds, great pillows.
When I booked the room, I wanted one overlooking the lake. I did not get a lake view room.
3.2
It was excellent!
Some areas of the building are getting tired.
3.2
Pool was closed and they did not notify until we arrived Room was dirty, bathroom was gross, and non of the plug in to charge things worked.
Very dirty in the room. Bathroom was not clean at all. All of the plug ins were broken.
3.2
Rooms are very small, and pricey. Pretty comfortable and MOSTLY clean, crumbs under the cushion of our cool purple chair. Front desk staff was super friendly Bar tender was OK and personable but couldn’t take my .89 cheap wine glass to my room. The pool was super chlorinated so we skipped that…huge bummer. Went to eat breakfast in the Apostle Saturday morning, after a very snarky up and down look from the host, was seated. Sat there for 15 MINUTES after staff looked in our general direction many times, no one acknowledged us or came to take our order. We left. and the host said something and I replied that we never got served, and he chuckled and said smiling “Oh sorry about that”. I have worked in this industry and I would NEVER treat a customer that. He needs to be trained properly or just replaced. Needless to say, we would not stay here again.
oops see above.
3.2
The pool area is very calm during my stay. The clerk was unable to provide me a room that overlooked the parking area in the main building even tho the hotel was seemed fairly empty judging by the number of cars parked there and people walking around. It felt like the clerk was just either undertrained and supported or didn’t feel like doing what I requested. I ended up with circumstances that defeated the purpose of my stay there. Kind of a bummer frankly
I expected more from the brand for the money
3.2
Location and amenities are great. The room date was very reasonable. The revolving restaurant on top was awesome.
N/A - Nothing concerns.
