The front desk lady told us the restaurant would be open to eat breakfast the next morning.
The front desk lady lied. There was no breakfast and the restaurant was closed until 11:09 am. They handed us a bag with a yogurt, cold danish and small apple. The room was cold and we couldn’t find the thermostat. Had to call in the morning for someone to help us find it. The toile was soo old and very low.

The Guy at the Front Desk was super friendly and chatting! He explained the room & area to park perfectly. He even let us know continuously that if the room was not met up to our expectations, that he would send someone down immediately to go fix the issues. He really made us feel welcomed & important. Room was very big! Restroom was a little small, but overall very satisfied!
There were a few hairs in the blankets, but we just didnt use those & only the sheets. Carpet was a little dirty, just needed a good vaccum. Unfortunately the pool is not running/working & everyone who works there says its never going to be used. So I believe the only thing that should be changed on the description of the hotel, is the pool. False advertisement for sure, it was outside instead of inside & definitely not working.

Loved the location!
Stayed in 201 and wasn't too sure what was going on with the spongy feeling floor.

The bed was very comfortable; the room, including bathroom, were very clean; quiet; reminded us of a "Route 66" motel
Needs some updates; only provided grab and go breakfast, which consisted of juice, apple, and either yogurt or pastry

Nice location
Either you shower with very cold water or Boiling water
They need to do some work in the bathroom

The restaurant was decent.
Didn't feel safe at all. Stay 1 or the 3 nights I booked. There were lots of homeless/druggies people walking around. Beds were terribly uncomfortable, and pillows were hard and small. Towels were thin and not soft. Noisey. The lamp didn't work. Nothing as pictured.

The room was so roomy and the staff was great!
The check-in is located in the restaurant which isn’t ideal.

It was close to the highway.
It was very outdated and the whole room had a very strange smell coming from it.

Clean, spacious
Walkways and pavement badly need repair. They are uneven, a fall hazard.

you wouldn't know that this is a Howard Johnson property because last week it wasn't. And it still had its old signs up from its previous name, Casa Lemus.
The property is extremely neat, clean and well maintained. Food at the restaurant very good. The room was a bit dated but very clean and comfortable. Staff was nice but were learning the new owner's system. No issues, though.
nothing
