top notch location and staff
8.0 / 10.0
L'emplacement magnifique et le parking gratuit la gentillesse de l'accueil
Vraiment dans son jus mériterait une belle et grande rénovation et une climatisation extrêmement bruyante

The location is excellent and the attached Restaurant with Tiki-Bar superb. Great Sunsets, possibilities to watch Manatees and other wildlife. Close to the "Three Sister Springs" and the "Homosassa Wildlife Park" .
The property is very old and needs urgent renovation! It should be said, that renovations are being done. The Continental Breakfast that is offered is "sugar pure". No toast or bagels only sweet cookies.
We got a room above the restaurant although we asked for a quite room. Unfortunately the A/C was very loud as well.

Die Lage, das Personal, die Größe des Zimmers, die Parkplatzsituation
Das Frühstück war sehr dürftig
3.0 / 10.0
Gleich im Zentrum, wenn man mit Manatees schwimmen will
Heruntergekommenes Hotel, feucht, veraltet.
In höchstem Grad renovationsbedürftig
Das Schild "Unsafe" ist über dem Eingang zur Rezeption angebracht - das Zimmer war in einem Nebengebäude
Preis/Leistung stimmt nicht

Great location on river, perfect sunset, next to marina (boat rentals, tours, fishing) and next to restaurant
It's an old motel that's not being improved because a new hotel is on the way. Look at it as "Old Florida" and enjoy the experience.

Loved the location and the balcony with the beautiful view of the crystal river. Bed was comfy, AC worked great.
Hotel had areas that needed updates and repair. I hope the charm is not taken away when the new/updated hotel is build.

Such a funny question and then what didn't you like, who really cares, we all have opinions. So, that written down, I would say the location and the view was beautiful and the place has old Florida charm. The staff was great. The place is old and looks old and seems old, but it's quaint and very reasonably priced. It's kind a last of its kind and unfortunately will be torn down for some fancy and yet not fancy new toy - sad. The thing is the environment, which is beautiful. The hotel - sure could be renovated, but it would take a lot to bring it back.
it is what it is.

Location was excellent and the bar was fun. The bar is a hangout for many locals. It's an old hotel/motel and needs some repair. The bed was comfortable which is all that matters to me. I would go back because of the location and the bar. Word is that it will be torn down and replaced by a Marriott

Our view of King's Bay was exceptional. Yes, the room is "tired", but water is super hot, mattress firm, lots of electrical receptacles bedside for devices, delicious coffee in the office. I would return. Did you know Elvis stayed here while making the movie "Follow That Dream"?

The staff were great, very clean rooms, flat screen TV, wi-fi & on a side note, there is a mini-fridge in the room.
The Restaurant next door is very convenient.
I wish they had a coffee maker in the room 😆. Oh the wifi was spotty at times. Other than that...nothing.

We have been coming here for for about 10 years. It has always been an amazing relaxing experience. No frills, just a place to relax.
This last time, there was a new sea wall. I understand the need, but was disappointed that it sort of blocked our view of the water, from our little back patio.

beautiful River views. Jennifer at the front desk gave great customer service!!! Amazing old Florida charm with Sunset on the River and classic rock playing in the distance

The location and the view are excellent.
We’d stayed there before, and were devastated to find the pool gone on our return. So no pool.
The breakfast doesn’t count as a breakfast. Just a place to get coffee or hot water.
And we were gyped out of dinner at the very nice restaurant, because they closed 11/2 hrs earlier than their posted closing time!

The view was amazing. The peace and quiet feeling of what lod Florida used to be was the best part
That sad part is. We were told they are going to be torn down. And a new hotel be put up in its place. Hopefully they won't kill their appeal

Great location with everything we needed right there on the property--place to dock our boat and trailer, great restaurant and tiki bar on the water with good service and food. Loved our balcony room with view of marina and bay area. All office staff was friendly and helpful when we needed information or help with TV not working. Plan to stay here again.
Had no negative issues except the rain everyday so we didn't get to see the awesome sunsets we were hoping to see.
