Große Zimmer und sehr ruhige Lage. Schön, um dort eine Nacht zu übernachten als Zwischenstopp.

Close by, ample parking.
Property is beyond its usefulness given the rates charged.

Location and grounds
Old run down tried to cover up and remodel but obvious water leaks. Broke a logs on patio door, dirty sheets and room
Wasn’t well cleaned under bed and corners had pens and wrappers
And built up dirt and dust. Bath tub and sink Were stained from

Cleaner, glassware and silverware were dirty, wine was over priced and old soup
Was watery.

The food at The Field restaurant was good. The bed was comfortable. The surrounding grounds are beautiful.
The rooms definitely need updating. The extra blanket was dirty. I went to the front desk to ask for another blanket and it never arrived. The Friday evening night staff was a bit rude. The chairs under the tree were littered with Bird poop.

Location and price
There was hair in the shower, on the floor and in the sink. The shower didn’t drain. The bedside lamp didn’t work

Both the room and facility itself was pretty nice but showing its age a little bit. Bedding was nice, desk and chair were fine, there was a nice little patio, and the bathroom was nice if a little old and oddly laid out. The room has been updated with several charging stations which was helpful. It was nice that the TV had a regular remote and not one of the dumb hotel remotes that are hard to use with your streaming devices. But it would have been nicer if the remote had worked! Very nice front desk staff found me new batteries right away.
As I mentioned, the whole facility is aging a bit. I was told that my room wouldn't be serviced but in fact it was; not a problem for me but a bit of a sign of some disorganization by the staff. B

very dated. no breakfast. tv in room did not work. I could hear guests very clearly in the next room. rooms were cold and drafty.

Blair was at the front counter. He's very cool. Informative and knowledgeable about his job. He took great care of my wife and I. First interactions to us are everything in determining if we stay or go. We extended a day. It's very quiet there. I rested there. I truly had no major issues at all. Just some cosmetic concerns. Which had no affect on my stay.
It Definitely could use an update. From the ceilings in some of the rooms. But more than anything, vending machines headed toward the in house restaurant. If you're taller than 6 ft you will be ducking in some hallways/stairways. One stairwell has an overwhelming smell of paint by the front desk.

Stopping by The Field during our stay is a must.

I stay here every time that I travel to State College after staying at other locations for years. I am very happy with this property, the amenities, and you will not find a better stay for the price. The staff has always been great. The rooms are consistent. One of the best restaurants in the area is located on property.
It can get a bit noisy when wedding Parties are booked in the Hotel. Parking can be a bit cramped when restaurant goers arrive for Dinner. Like I said, one of the best food experiences in state college.

The property was in a nice resort setting
Rooms were a little outdated.

The front lobby & my room (which was just a few steps from the lobby) were very nice. I did not venture out to look at any other part of the property so have no idea. It was Christmas eve & Christmas day so the restaurant was closed but I have eaten there when not staying in the hotel & its fantastic.
The parking lot was a little icy, could have been cleared a little better.
