There are two bathrooms, both with showers, one with a bath. There is a washer/dryer in the bathroom and outdoor space for drying clothes. Central heating throughout. High speed fibre broadband WiFi.

If I'm in town I will probably be staying close by, if I'm away then a relative or friend living nearby will be on hand.
The neighbourhood
Such a great place to be, located close to all the arts venues of London's Southbank such as the National Theatre, Hayward Gallery, Queen Elizabeth Hall, Tate Modern, BFI National Film Theatre, Shakespeare's Globe, Borough Farmers' Market (for foodies!), the Old Vic theatre, the Young Vic theatre, Union Theatre, the London Eye, London Aquarium and many more! There are 6 supermarkets within a few minutes walk.
Getting around
Situated between two very convenient stations, Waterloo and Blackfriars and with many bus routes close by - though you will probably choose to walk most places! Covent Garden is a 15 minute walk and Soho is 25 minutes away on foot. London taxis can be hailed around the corner on the main road and Ubers will pick you up from the door.
Other things to note
There's a TV, a hi-fi and Wi-Fi and a radio! A hair dryer, a printer, a Nespresso machine, a washing machine, a dishwasher and a microwave oven. A high-chair and a cot can also be provided if requested when the booking is made.

We had an incredible stay at Damien's flat. He was there to greet us and very generously allowed us to check in early and store our bags after a long trip from the U.S. The flat was exceptionally well equipped and Damien gave us some great tips on restaurants, local travel, etc. Excellent walkability and access to transportation. The South Bank is a great place from which to explore all that London has to offer. We'd return in a heartbeat and highly recommend! Thanks so much, Damien!!

Our family of 4 enjoyed staying at Damien's place. The location is near Waterloo station and The Queen's Walk along the South Bank of the Thames. It is on a quite street, but convenient to shopping, restaurants and grocery stores. Damien met us upon arrival and showed us around the house. He provided coffee, tea, milk, orange juice, spices, olive oil, vinegar and lots of other staples. The place is colorful and has lots of plants both inside and out. Mint and rosemary grow in the garden patio, which we enjoyed when weather permitted. Beds were comfortable and we appreciated having the washer. It was a fantastic stay and Damien is a wonderful host!

This property was perfect for our family of four. Well situated in easy walking distance to the Eye and the river. Plenty of space and Damien was amazing. We had some flight trouble getting to London, but Damien was super friendly and responsive. Would definitely stay here again if we find ourselves back in London.

Firstly let me congratulate and thank Damien for being a superb host. He is a prompt and informative communicator and met us at the flat to show us around and answer any questions we may have had.
The flat is not large but it’s very comfortable. The living area has an enormous sofa and the kitchen is equipped with anything you could possibly need, including a dining table. Damien very thoughtfully left us welcome gifts of food and drinks, as well as written information for everything pertaining to both the flat and the area.
Beds are extremely comfortable and the main bedroom opens out onto the pretty back garden which we unfortunately couldn’t use because of the weather! There is a combined washing machine/dryer and wifi is reliable and fast.
Waterloo Station is an easy 14 minute walk as are lots of restaurants in areas such as Gabriel’s Wharf. Would we go back? Indeed we would!

The apartment was in a great location. On a quiet street just a block from good bus routes and within walking distance to Waterloo station. Damien was the best host. We were able to check-in early and met us at the apartment. He had flowers on the table and a few staples in the fridge. The small bedroom had direct access to a bathroom while the larger bedroom had the bathroom in the hallway. The garden in the back was lovely, though a bit overgrown. We did not get to use because of the rain. We would definitely stay there again.

The four of us enjoyed staying at this flat in London in May 2024. The outdoor garden seating area was charming, the living area & beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was spacious & modern. The flat is on a quiet street yet quite close to the fun, bustling River Thames touristy area (& since we were tourists, that worked out perfectly for us.) Highly recommend!

This flat has such a super chill vibe, was spotless clean and had all the amenities you could want for. The bonus back yard garden area was icing on the cake. Damien was very helpful with his detailed directions for the flat as well as restaurant recommendations. Walking distance to all the tourist attractions--we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We loved our stay at the flat in Waterloo! Charming 2 bedroom 2 bathroom with a little garden space. Modern touches like towel warmers, Nespresso, and trendy lighting and fixtures are little things that give the flat a luxury feel. We traveled as a family of 4 with 2 teens and had no trouble walking and using public transportation. Easy access to stores, pubs, restaurants, Gabriel's Warf, London Eye and Waterloo Station for trains, tubes, buses. The street is quaint with relatively quiet neighbors for a city environment. One teen slept on the futon and found it comfortable for a week. We would stay here again and plan to recommend it to friends. Damien went above and beyond to make us welcome and comfortable. He is a 5 star host!

The host was one of the best I've worked with across multiple bookings. He went above and beyond in terms of service and responsiveness.
The home was well located, in a quiet neighborhood, a short walk from Waterloo station. Great home base during our visit to London.

We truly loved our visit. It was the first time we had been to London, and the location of the flat was perfect. Damien was very easy to work with and full of great information! We can’t wait to come back!

From the first contact with Damien everything was fantastic. As a host he was superb, helping us in many ways that you wouldn't expect. Communication was excellent, his recommendations spot on, and the flat was beyond our expectations. It felt like home, and the location was incredible -- it made it so easy to go to Konditor, the cake shop (which we did 8 times). If (when!!) we go back to London I can't think of any reason why we would not stay here again. Loved it!!

We booked this upon a recommendation from another person, and they could not have been more right. This place was amazing! Our host was easy to communicate with, his place had all the amenities that one could want or need, and the location was nothing short of spectacular! I would highly recommend this place to others. It was super clean and Damien did everything perfectly to make our stay in London very enjoyable and one to remember. He is awesome!

The flat was perfect for what our family of 4 needed on our London vacation. The location was great, an easy walk to the West End and other popular touristic attractions. We had a great stay in this apartment!
It is very comfortable, has everything you need (kitchen, washing machine, TV,...) and has a perfect location. We could reach a lot on foot and the train/tube station is also very close. Nevertheless, the area is relatively quiet, which was very pleasant.
Damien is a great host, very friendly and helpful.
We highly recommend this rental!

Damien is an amazing host. We stayed for 7 nights in August. The location of the flat could not be any better, it is walking distance to every major attraction, the supermarket is only 4 minute walk and has everything you need. The neighborhood is safe, we walked there late in the evening, absolutely no problem. The apartment has absolutely everything you need and beyond, plenty of dishes, flatware, glasses, pot and pats. Damien provided nespresso capsules which was awesome in the morning. The apartment is exactly how it is advertised and more. The host is very responsive, he greeted us and showed us around, bought for us wine, beer, milk, juice, fruit etc. He was just a text away if we needed anything. He provided us with restaurant recommendation. I can not say enough good things about the apartment and the host. We had the best time. If we ever visit London again, this will be our place to stay!

This unit is in a great location (3 different tubes stops in walking distance) and was perfect for our stay with 2 adults and our 3 children (ages 11-18). Damien was a wonderful host, promptly responded to inquiries prior to our stay and had great suggestions for us while we were there. He was also very accommodating of a last minute change to our arrival caused by disruptions in our air travel. This unit is precisely as advertised and I highly recommend.

Although our trip was derailed a bit by a flight cancellation and then a very sick kid, Damien and his flat helped us to make the most of a difficult vacation. The flat itself is comfortable and has everything you could need. Our family of 5 fit just fine, with a teenager on the sofa and the rest of us sharing the two beds. The shower was amazing and having a washing machine was great.
The location absolutely can't be beat. We were able to walk to everything we wanted to see and even to the places we needed (but didn't want to need), like a private GP. Great restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacies, tourist attractions...all of it is an easy walk away.
Damien was incredibly helpful and responsive. He made himself available via text while we were in town and even saved us when we accidentally locked a suitcase in the flat on our way back home.
I would rent this flat again in a heartbeat and will plan to if our family gets the chance to give our London vacation a do-over.

A fabulous flat in a great part of London. Damien is a great host and communication was excellent. Well appointed flat with everything you need and a welcome bottle of Prosecco, milk, juice and some fruit. Quiet location but only a short walk to Waterloo Station and several great pubs and a supermarket nearby. Highly recommended.

Our family loved the unit. It was clean and offered all we needed for our stay. Loved that they had milk, oat milk and tea for us! Being from the US found washer/dryer unit tricky to use but found plenty of racks to dry our cloths on in the closets- so it worked great. Close to everything we wanted to see. Used the tube the whole time we were there. Uber was best from airport. Highly recommend and would stay again for sure. Thank you Damien.

Damien was so welcoming and took time in showing us all we needed to know to settle in nicely! Croissants and fresh fruit were also there to greet us. :) We had ample room and all that we needed. The flat is cheerful and with a pretty patio area. We would definitely come back. The location is perfect, a very short walk to the Waterloo station and to restaurants and strolls along the Thames. Perfect!

We had a fabulous 2 night stay at this beautiful flat tucked away on a quiet street just a few minutes from Waterloo. Damien was a brilliant host - we met him at the property & were able to drop off our luggage before check in time. The flat was a comfortable base for 5 adults, with absolutely everything you could possibly need in the many cupboards and drawers. The welcome couldn't have been warmer or more generous; we loved the well stocked fridge, fruit, pastries & granola. We were even able to leave our luggage on our departure day as the next guests weren't coming until later on.
Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, what a gem!

This is the best VRBO experience we have had, and we do frequent rentals. The apartment was even better than the description. Clean, completely equipped unit with very comfy beds. We enjoyed sitting out in the courtyard and enjoying the fresh air. The apartment’s is centrally located.
Damien is an amazing host! He provided transportation, restaurant and grocery store recommendations prior to our arrival. He also checked on us during our trip.

I had never booked anything thru VRBO before and was a bit nervous. Damien was the perfect host and his flat was exactly as described. It was in a great location. We either walked everywhere, or grabbed an UBER. I would highly recommend this property. When we return to London will definitely look to see if this propery is available to rent.
