The location was key. The beds were comfortable. The view was a huge bonus!
Our room was the farthest from parking.

Great location and room. Staff friendly.
We vacationed on Lake Placid to enjoy spending time on the lake. We woke to clouds but no rain/thunderstorms in forecast for a few hours. Sun soon came out, yet we were told they weren’t opening access to the boats until noon because of thunderstorms in 35 mile radius. So, we sat on our balcony and watched as other neighboring resorts guests out on the lake (in the sun). But noon came around and it was raining by then. Cleared again towards evening but we were told they were not allowing access to the kayaks the rest of the day. I was told they will be open 7am the next morning (no rain in the forecast) and we’d be able to have plenty of time before we left that day. We went down to the lake at 8:30 am. No staff and all boats locked. So, I had to call again and they said they’ll send someone down. We waited an an additional 1/2 hr. for staff to arrive to set up life jackets and unlock all boats and put them in the water. Again stayed at this resort to have easy access to the lake. Next time we’ll stay at an AirB&B.

Location and view of Mirror Lake.
The check-in process was horrible. Front desk didn’t know what they were doing. Constantly checking in the back office for management to help. Said there were no other rooms available when in fact there were.

The location was great and right in the center of town. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and looked as pictured on hotel listing. Food was tasty and complimentary cookies and lemonade were a nice touch.
The exterior of the hotel was in need of some repairs, there were large areas of paint peeling from building that were visible from street level. The view from our room wasn't great as we were on second floor overlooking the roof, and there was moss growing from roof onto balcony which wasn't bad but could have been better.

View from balcony
We've been to this resort at least three times. This time, the restaurant food was not as good, our rm had to be changed because when you sit on the bed, it makes a weird noise. We got our rm changed, same issue. It turns out that the platform was loose
It just wasn't as classy as we remembered. Staff was nice, but it ain't what it was.

good location, walkable to everywhere in Lake Placid
Booked a King room through Booking.Com, got a Queen room instead, covered parking area was very dimly lit and the concrete was covered with a layer of dirt,it appears to be the maintenance shop for the hotel. They wanted to charge me $10.00 for the use of a microwave. Some of the staff were wonderful, others, not so much

amenities were very clean and available, view was beautiful and it's in a perfect location
location to the water although my room did say water views and due to the outdoor pool we could not see the water
4.3

nothing bad to say

Advertised pool but it was closed

Beautiful rooms, lobby and excellent location!
4.3
the comfy room, the perfect location, the surprisingly good food, the friendly staff
the “super deluxe king w/a view’ was a view of the pool, so that was a bit misleading. Charging a resort fee in the winter seems unfair.
