bath towels, comfortable bed, quiet, near main street, great hosts!
m&m's in the vending machine were stale. (ha)

It’s an older building but nicely renovated and with modern amenities and extremely clean. The staff is friendly and professional, and they have a really wonderful breakfast! I had to change my reservation multiple times and they were very communicative and accommodating. I can’t recommend this place highly enough!
Be prepared for minimal outlets, small rooms, and some structural issues like slanting floors that come with older buildings.

Convenient location & very comfortable

Staff was great and location was great. Room was recently renovated
Bed was a bit hard

Ceiling fan needed replaced (noisy and very wobbly). Air conditioner too noisy (didn't get a good night's sleep). Floor outside shower looked like there was mold. Had the fan worked properly, perhaps we wouldn't have had to use the air conditioner.

The bed was comfortable
Tiny room, cramped quarters

The front desk girl tried to be very helpful but booking.com way over charged me for this stay. It was 160. For a normally 125. room. The breakfast service was really great and staff was great.
Booking.com has information missing about pet stays for this property. They require $30 per pet I was informed when I arrived late tired and exhausted for my two dogs. Booking.com way over charged me for this small older motel, information was missing and room was just ok with a very tiny bathroom and a not impressive bed and uncomfortable room.

breakfast was very good. Location very good for a walk around the old historic part of town. Also right near the river, with a riverside walkway.
old fashioned, which suited us fine, but might not suit everyone.

We have a preference for independent properties, and this one was excellent. We will certainly stay again. The home cooked breakfast was an unexpected treat!

Great service! Nice and quiet & best mattress on our 2 week road trip

The room was very comfortable. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. The breakfast had something for everyone.
I liked everything.

The room was very spacious and newly remodeled. Clean and comfy.
The bathroom was a bit small but nicely refurbished.

It had a decent breakfast, small but good choices. They are renovating the rooms, and they were clean and beds were comfortable. I would stay again, the price was right.
The outside areas are still in need of some TLC. Our room was tucked into a back corner with a view of a wall and nonworking vending machines. Carpet on the outside walkways need help, but that didn't affect the rooms.

Older, remodeled motel. Room was quite small, but very clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent.

Great, super informative and friendly staff. Chocolate chip cookies at check in were yummy! Breakfast buffet a great selection, especially for a small local motel.
Outside walkway around building was dirty, rooms and inner hallways were really clean though.

the room improvements were extensive and well done with good materials - especially the beautiful shower. The bed and matress were excellent.

I was little surprized by the age of the facility, it is obviously being upgraded as we speak. the room was clean and the bed comfortable. liked having plenty of pillows.
the bathroom floor could use new tile and coving - it's a bit tacky.
the hall way flooring needs help also.

Just fine
The outside appearance. On the outside porch, the frayed carpet and broken cement make it look pretty shabby. Maybe, some kind of pavers or tile in that area would help. Flower pots or flags by
office would also be a plus.

Recently renovated room with comfortable bed. Friendly staff!
Guest laundry not available, but there is an excellent laundry at the end of the road.

Comfortable stay in this historic town. Had mini fridge and microwave. Greeted with chocolate chip cookie.
Tiny bathroom and shower. Landscape outside of window could use work. It looked like construction was happening down the hall, so it's nice to see the hotel is getting an upgrade.

clean, friendly, good price.
working the tub & shower were a bit challenging. over-all the outside could use some up grading (new outside carpet & roof drainage) - good place to start.

We got a double queen room for 3 and we're very pleasantly surprised that it was essentially 2 joined rooms with 2 bathrooms. Each room temp could be adjusted separately and this worked out great for us.
The entry to the rooms are also on the inside, which was great.
The hot breakfast with scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, toasted bagels and waffles were all great as well.
The rooms were a little outdated.

This is a smaller, non-chain motel that obviously strives to make the guests comfortable. The women at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. The room was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable. The shampoos, soaps, lotions, were better than most hotels offer. The breakfast included eggs and meat as well as all the other usual items. We were very pleased with our stay there.
There wasn't anything we didn't like.
4.1
Very clean, bed was very comfortable. Best breakfast ever!
