10/10 Wowed by a Motel 6

10/10. First time staying in a Motel 6. Picked it based on previous reviews. Pleasantly surprised that it was so nice and clean. Situated 2 blocks from hwy, no drive by traffic. Perfectly clean inside and out. No bad smells of cigarettes, cleaning fluids, must or mold. Super friendly staff at check-in. Little mini golf area for kids and I think a picknic table outside. I would stay here again and add Motel 6 to my list of motels I will stay at.

Would stop here again.

I booked online from my Reno Hotel and I had problems but the staff made sure I had a room and that there was only one charge. They did a great job assisting me. I loved it that the motel was affordable, close to the freeway and easy to get into town. Thank you so much.

A great stop over on a long trip

very clean- a one night stop over so did not need allot of extra facilities.Kaylee (?) manager was very accommodating. Second time staying there great value for the money.

Not a good place for chemically sensitive individuals. Nice hard floors, family friendly.

2 rooms for around $160 is definitely budget friendly. We really liked the proximity to the freeway, ease of booking, and the hard floors (instead of carpet). Surface cleaning was good (bathrooms were clean), but the floors were a little dirty (needed a thorough mop) and the nightstands a bit dusty.

There's clearly some water damage in the room, both in the bathroom (the floor is buckling by the tub and toilet) and some bubbling/mold by the front door. The heater, while functional, sounded like a jet taking off every time it started (cycling on and off all night). There are no doormats, so we tracked a lot of snow into the room. Also, there was a smell of stale cigarette smoke and cleaner in one of our rooms, artificial cinnamon pinecone and cleaner in the other, and the front office smelled like and air freshener explosion. For a family with chemical sensitivities, this is a major prohibitive factor. We would not return here.
