Hôtel chargé d’histoire et le personnel était très sympathique.
L’ascenseur des années 20.
J’ai tout aimé.

Response from Inn staff was always quick. We were arriving late after normal lobby hours.
No elevator.

Love the feel of an old Inn. Wasn't what I was expecting and was pleasantest surprised

The grandeur of this landmark hotel was so impressive! It is also a great location with stores and nice restaurants within easy walking distance.
My travel partner struggled with the stairs. The elevator is apparently ancient and could only be used by special request of the staff but there often was not staff at the desk.

I liked the charming older-hotel atmosphere, the town itself. And the staff was REALLY nice and responsive to requests. The small refridge was great, and the location (near market and stores) meant things were within easy reach.
Main problems: low water pressure in toilet. Lighting in the room was a bit dim. There wasn't a truly usable desk in the room, it should have been there I think. However, I requested a straight chair (came promptly) and used a small side table as a desk. Also the elevator was a bit scary, so I didn't use it.

I love old hotels and like supporting historic hotels. The rooms were nice, beds comfortable and was in a great little town with lots to see. The have kept all of the ambience of an old hotel. They are pet friendly at this time, but I think that they may be rethinking this. Best to ask first
I don't think they have enough staff. One of the drawbacks to this hotel is that it his one elevator that requires an operator. I believe that we were on the 4th floor and don't do well hauling bags up 4 flights of stairs. Luckily there was someone there to operate the elevator. We didn't go out that night and I am not really sure of the hours that someone was available to operate the elevators. If you are older and have problems with stairs might want to check what other options they have

It’s location
No tv in the room and the pictures online were deceiving . Breakfast was supposedly included and got there around 8:30 and all was left was boiled eggs and some toast. No sugar for the coffee and it was just in general bad and no one seemed bothered.

Beautiful, historic building with a lot of charme and character. A nice pool in the back, free parking.
Personally, I liled the actual physical key in lieu of the common key card.
The room was spacious and original.
Keep in mind that pretty much everything is closed on Mondays in Brandon.
The A/C unit in our room had mold in it which we noticed too late...
The breakfast lady just locked the door half an hour before breakfast was over and didn't open it again.

Very clean and beautiful

The Brandon Inn is a delightful historic place - in a beautiful. Small town - we mostly took the stairs but taking the elevator that has to be operated by staff was a fun experience- the room was super big and very comfortable - the town is lovely .Also the breakfast was great!
I suppose if you do not like waiting for someone to operate the elevator and do not like walking stairs it would be a problem but the hotel is great

The Brandon is quite an amazing old property. I hope they don't update it too much. It is going through a change, but we really liked the quirkiness of our room.
Staff was very nice, though spare-not many of them.
We paid so little for our room, it's hard to complain.
We found the restaurant Provence down the street to be really good, and highly recommend.
Please, new owners, don't overdo the "upgrades" in the building.
Yes, not for us, but another/additional small elevator would be good, don't change too much. You have an historic gem that just needs gentle handling.

The breakfast had wonderful fresh fruit, hard boiled eggs, variety of cereal and pastries as well as ham and cheese slices with juice, coffee and tea.
being on a lower floor would have been better but it was nice riding the elevator up with my luggage.

Price. There wasn’t a tv in the room.
2.5
quaint, receptionist nice, breakfast people nice, location nice and walkable, felt very safe
shower drizzled, with a trickle of hot water. bathroom sink clogged. these are things that should be checked out before the person arrives to inhabit the room. Beds in room could have a more inviting look. just a bit on the drab side.

Truly a great experience. The staff was so welcoming and delightful. They were also helpful in providing with tips on places to explore in vermont. The room was beautiful. The town of Brandon was very cute and there were many bars and breweries to visit. We went skiing at both killington and sugarbush during our stay and the drive to each were very easy and pleasant.
