Staff was friendly and helpful.

Paul and Greg at the reception were very nice and kind. The location of the Inn is great, close to everything we wanted to go and see.
The step in the bathroom from the sink to the toilet/ shower. A red tape mark should be added.
I fell then put the garbage can right on the step to delimit it.

the owners and staff were very nice and accommodating. They assisted us in must-dos in New Orleans and recommended lots of restaurants for us

The location was perfect! We were able to walk everywhere we needed to go!! It screamed New Orleans charm!!
The tv wasn’t properly mounted to the wall, so we were nervous to use it!

The Inn was what I was expecting, someplace close to the sights, walking distance to things, safe and a comfortable room. The air conditioning was great. The price was perfect. If you are looking for the Ritz it is not but I did not pay Ritz pricing either.

location
I asked for a room with as little stairs to it as I have v bad knees. We had to climb 2 sets of steep narrow steps to get to our room.

not much
it was tired, moldy bathroom and probably moldy wall under ac unit.

Good location. Friendly staff. Mostly clean room
Room had no windows. There was a strong smell of damp. The door wasn't very secure. Only 3 coat hangers. Walls are very thin and can hear full conversations in other rooms and outside.

Nice place on the edge of the Quarter, so noise is at a minimum

Location
Very run down. Dresser drawer hangs open. Sagging floor patched with piece of plywood. Door to bathroom doesn’t close. Courtyard area ropes off with caution tape. Floors so dirty you have to wipe your feet before getting into bed. Significant dust buildup in some areas. bathroom mirrors never cleaned. Coffee not replenished.

The location was perfect, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was in a place that is part of history.
Gave us some good ideas where to eat that were a little different and good. The room was comfortable and clean.
the room was on the second floor, my daughter has asthma and I have arthritis in both knees. The not very much parking but they did offer a place to park but it was not so close

Location.
Calefaction was not good enough.

The staff was ever so accomodating.
The location is very convenient....just a short walk to lots of great dining and tours. The bed was comfy.
Our room needed a thorough cleaning. I do understand that the building is old, but there was no real excuse for the amount of dust on the louver doors or behind the nightstand.

Staff was very friendly and helped with bags. Great location.
Was not cleaned thoroughly. There was hair on the walls in the bathroom and the tile in the shower was old and dirty looking. We could not get it to be warm enough.
2.5 / 5.0
I liked the location.
The room was cold with no extra blankets. The room smelled of mildew and the toilet ran constantly. The bathroom could use a deep clean, new caulking, and a fixed toilet.

Comfortable, perfect location, beautiful rooms, well cared for property, but the single best aspect were the folks working there. They were kind, attentive, and obviously cared very much.
No complaints whatsoever.

the location was really good. the rooms were nice also.
The brown doors outside of our room were broken off of the hinges. The problem with this is that you could get into our room without even needing the key card. Everytime we left our room we were nervous someone would be able to break in. We informed the man at the front desk and he came and looked at it and said there was nothing they could do and that it was unlikely someone would take anything. We felt fine while we were in the room because the inside lock but there was no way of locking the door since the brown doors with the key card scanner was broken and would just open up if you pulled on it.

The location was great, the bed was comfy, and the room was quiet.
I don’t believe our sheets were changed the entire stay. We had to ask for toilet paper and coffee. The ice machine was broken and we were told the location of a nearby grocery store. The alley to rooms wasn’t lit, the stair risers were awkwardly high. Reception clerk had a weird vibe, reminiscent of Norman Bates.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and had free wifi. It was very clean and everything was in order. There is a coffee maker in the room with choice of tea. It also had a nice tv screen.
The building on a dark street, so when you are arrive by foot at night it can be a bit scary if you are traveling alone as a woman. It would be great if they add lighting outside and at the entrance. Also the shower didn't have great water pressure, and it was too slow to drain, so maybe it was clogging.

no mini fridge in the room and only one small trash can. bring a cooler
no mini fridge and the outside ice machine was tore up the entire stay

Staff: The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I refer to all the staff (front desk, maintenance, and cleaning staff). We did not need anything extra, but it was nice that they had a guest fridge, guest microwave, and disposable plates available for leftovers in the lobby. We called ahead of time, so we knew about the fridge/microwave.
Location: Nice location. We are very familiar with New Orleans, so we knew the location.
Coffee: A Keurig was in the room and there was one in the lobby as well. They provided Styrofoam cups, four pods, and four creamers the first day. They would have provided more upon request. There were additional pods in the lobby. I knew this ahead of time and brought extra pods.
Noise: It was pretty quiet overall (even for New Years weekend). The only noise we really heard was the upstairs guests clomping down the stairs late at night. Nothing can be done about that other than to remind people to be respectful of those around you.
Drop-off/Pick-up: As with any small boutique hotel options in New Orleans, you have to have a plan ahead of time for drop-off and pick-up. There are parking spots on the street, but it was parked up. We found a temporary spot on the end of the block, threw on our hazards, and were able to unload without any hassles about half a block away. One couple attempted to park right out front and she ended up pulling around the block several times (noted while we were waiting for our room to be ready .... we were early). It would have been better had she just pulled up and quickly took everything out of the car and then go park (one of the couple was there to watch their stuff). Anyway, just think about this ahead of time, so you do not get flustered (one of them was doing the eyeroll thing and getting frustrated with the driver).
Parking: There is a lot owned by this company at a sister location that was $30/night. We researched ahead of time and parked in a city pay lot and paid $36 for three nights.
Hmmm... there really wasn't anything we didn't like. Nothing that we even discussed really. We have stayed many places in New Orleans, so we are very familiar with smaller hotels.
The bathroom is a bit small, but that is to be expected with boutique hotels like this.
It would have been nice to have a fridge and microwave in the room. But we knew this ahead of time (as mentioned above), so really nothing to complain about. As stated above, they provided a fridge and microwave in the lobby. It is a small enough place where we weren't worried about leaving our food in the refrigerator.

location was great and like the tall ceilings in the room
the bath tub had a slight dip in it that the water was not draining from. Also the door being right off the street was a little loud
0.5 / 5.0
The complex and room were very old and run down. The towels were old and dingy not to mention my bed sheets had blood stains on them. Never again will I stay at this location or any other owned by this company.
