The location is great. The staff was extremely helpful.
Stayed here 15 years ago and it looks like not much has been updated since then.
The first room we were given had an air conditioner on the floor with a vent going outside and open window. It was next to an alleyway with intermittent car/truck noise. Hard to believe they would even offer this room at the exorbitant price we were paying.
The second room had a raised stone fireplace hearth directly outside the door of an extremely small bathroom. The bathroom had a shower/tub combination which we would not have been able to comfortably use.
Just getting into this bathroom without tripping on the raised stone hearth would have been an issue especially at night.
The third room offered was bigger, had a good sized bathroom with a walk-in shower and a better location. This room was a much better reflection of the price we paid.

Good location. Breakfast was good
Toilet water was brown when arrived even after a few flushes. Took 10 minutes to get hot water

Everything, especially spa!
No air conditioning in main restaurant and fire alarm went on for hours.

The room was nice and liked the "nook" with desk to work at. While we did not use the fireplace, like how it made the atmosphere. Our dog was welcomed. Bathroom was cold though. Our daughters' room was also nice and worked well for them. Never saw our son's room.
Check-in was difficult - I had had to cancel one of three rooms originally booked to make a change for my son as he arrived a day later. At check-in, I was told they had cancelled two rooms. I don't know where the problem was, but clerk kept trying to tell me I was wrong until they found the original booking, so I think it was their fault? As frustrating as that was, adding to the stress was that I could not reach Booking.com at all. No response to text message through ap and could not find a phone number.
We had drinks & dinner at historic bar - enjoyed the time and atmosphere with our grown children. The bars computer was down, when I checked out they said they didn't have the charge on the room bill, but would comp it. I told them it was too much, next day they charged me, which is ok. Just not sure what to think of front desk staff.

Awesome

Our first room (180) had a portable ac unit and when we turned it on, our allergies were horrible. When we told Lesley, at the front desk, she was SO apologetic, upgraded our room to the gorgeous suite (100) and gave us a free drink card for the bar. Lesley’s service, friendliness and investment in your hotel are incredible. She is so proud to work at La Posada and it shows. Everyone we met who works there were wonderful.
Our first room (180) needs to have the ac cleaned out. While we’re in room 100, a wonderful guy came into work on the heat for another room. He set up a ladder, opened the ceiling access, and left to get tools. He didn’t come back and we had to go to the front desk an hour later because our room got freezing cold with the access open for so long.

You will love staying at LA Posada De Santa Fe! The hotel is set up like a little village. Nice large sitting area with fireplace.
Bedroom and bathroom area are large.
Hotel offers shuttle that transports within a two mile radius that we used though downtown was a ten minutes or so walk.
Convenient valet parking. Everyone a t LA Possada is very friendly!
Noticed little bugs on the room wall on arrival. They are tree bugs coming inside because of the cool weather.
Front desk stated they do not bite and had Pest Control spray the outside and when we were out the hotel room.
Only saw one or two afterward. Do not let this discourage you from staying here!

Wonderful luxurious beds, delightful Santa Fe design, excellent staff

Location is the best thing about La Pasada. We stayed years ago and it was much cleaner, staff was more accommodating. Now it is run down, dirty and the staff seems to not really have the ability to fix the issues.
The rooms are outdated. Windows are dirty, window coverings are broken and dirty. Furniture is old and worn out. Nothing special in the rooms and I didn’t want to hang out there at all during the day, which is not how you usually feel at a spa/resort. I won’t be going back.

The amenities were great. Wish there were some kind of food for room service. Even snacks in disposable packaging would be great.
The fact that there was a very large amount approved from my debit card as well as the actual charge for my stay. It cleared my checking, savings and my signature loan. Still not sure if I will get fined for that. When I checked my account on Wednesday it was -$113.00. I didn't check out until Thursday.

The hotel was great BUT really needs a renovation.
Renovation and better room service… it took a long time to clean our room

I love the location, the grounds are very nice. I also like to see that pets are welcome.
Very nice staff.
I think a nicer bed mattress would have been nice for the price we paid.

Well located in the area to shops and restaurants. The shuttle service was useful most of the time.
The property was undergoing renovations. The spa notified us in advance and offered a small discount for the inconvenience of not having access to the sauna and changing rooms. However, the hotel repaved the entrance and closed the lobby - rerouting customers - without prior notice or apology for the inconvenience. At checkout I was surprised to learn that I had inadvertently booked “flex” pricing and the cost was approximately 35-40% MORE than quoted at the time of my booking in January! The hotel staff said they “can’t do anything about lowering the price of a third party vendor (Booking.com in this case) was used.” So we paid significantly more than anticipated and the hotel was undergoing renovations!!

Breakfast was very good, lovely patio and staff was attentive.
Valet staff were very good and knowledgeable.
We had booked a king room and on checkin were given a small queen room. Upon seeing it and finding we booked a king room my husband went back to reservations. He was told that since we booked with a third party (Booking.com) that was all they had available. After showing the confirmation and standing his ground we were given a king room, which is we had reserved and it was much nicer.

The compound of individual casitas, all unique, with beautiful landscaping with fountains, sculptures, and patios makes LaPasada one of a kind. Full of history and character verses a hotel room.

The hotel location and the valets were good.
The front desk service was horrible. The rooms were cleaned but not clean. Rooms had to be separated after air conditioning broke. The room offerings do not match the pictures. For this brand and money, we were very disappointed.

I've been a guest of La Posada for over 20 years and seen it change ownership many times. I keep coming back because of its fascinating history, beautiful "bones" and great setting and location.
I look forward to renovations to the guest rooms. They're still comfortable and charming but they need a lot of TLC

The first morning I was not feeling well and I only wanted coffee and OJ. But there was no one else in the restaurant and no one there to greet me for 15 minutes. The the person greeting me was surprised I was sitting there.
