The view is spectacular, staff was friendly, room was clean
The rooms are not insulted enough, we were in room 104 and after 2 hours of listening to the folks in room 105, I made a call to the front desk and asked them to advise they were too loud. They were just talking and laughing but the walls must have very poor insulation. This hotel is on my 85 year old mom’s bucket list but I don’t think she would be able to sleep well. We could also hear the person on second floor walk very heavy.

very clean close to the water.
wish the bathroom was bigger

It was inexpensive
Room was on the first floor. Bathroom was ice cold, very noisy , banging, etc. path to Marginal way was not shoveled making it impossible to walk. Bar closed at 8:30 pm on Saturday night….

in spite of so many things in Ogunquit being closed at this time of year the stay at the Anchorage was wonderful. The location, facilities and staff were all exceptional.
The was nothing I did not like.

Breakfast was fine. Great scenery.
Too much noise. Heating pipes very loud. Can hear neighbors next door and up above you. Can hear their talking, tv, snoring, etc. Difficult to sleep with all the noise.

the comfortable Adirondack chairs on the lawn

We have stayed there before and always have a great time. Very close to everything, ocean views amazing, clean, restaurants are great the 360 lounge amazing views and drinks.
While we were in the room another couple opened the door to our room with a key card and said the front desk just rented them the same room, they did go back to the front desk, but we could not get an answer about why that happened.

location, ambiance and well kept. and clean

We stay here every year. It’s a lovely place.
Maine has a very high tax on everything. Drove the hotel price up.

Will never stay here again. The room was incredibly disappointing. We paid over $300/ night for the worst room I have ever stayed in. We feel completely ripped off and mistreated. We were sent to property across the street with no parking left and a view of a generator. A parking lot view would have been an upgrade. My dream stay was a complete nightmare. Completely scammed
The price and room were horrendous

We love it here. It is always consistent, clean, tidy, and well cared for. It shows. We love the location, of course!
not much
I didn’t like finding a few long black hairs in the bed when I pulled covers back. That would be my only complaint. it happens, but left me unsettled.

I would have liked a view of the water, of course, but it was not in my budget. and the room could have been a bit larger, but it wasn't bad for one night.
