My friends and I stayed here for one night (August 11) so we could enjoy a leisurely stay before driving over to Joshua Tree to see the meteor shower. The room was amazing - 2 queen beds, a couch, 2 lounging chairs, and a separate kitchen with 3 chairs! The bathroom was nice, beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had pots and pans, salt/pepper, and dish soap so we could cook dinner and enjoy a night in. We went out for a dip in the swimming pool and hot tubs, which were amazing. They're open 24/7 so you can dip your feet and watch the stars, or watch the sunrise. Such an amazing and enjoyable experience!
There's really not much to say here. Everything was great!

Awesome throw back to the 60's, this place is a gem! Clean and well maintained. The 3 hot spring mineral pools were amazing and we slept so comfortably on the cozy king bed.
Kitchen sufficed but could use an update.

So peaceful

the front desk staff/management was very friendly and accommodating. Our room was clean and comfortable.
Like many of the hotel/resorts in DHS, the interiors are a bit tired and could use updating of soft furnishings etc.

Good for bird watchers. Close to Joshua Tree NP, Thousand Palms Oasis, Mt San Jacinto Aerial Tram, and Big Morango Canyon Preserve. The resort has many palms, is very quiet at night, and wonderful hot pools therapeutic for your arthritis pain.

Price full kitchen there was a Jacuzzi,a pool , a Jacuzzi Pool (all with mineral water) and also there was a dry sauna. The hostess was nice and knowledgeable of the facilities and surrounding area . They also provide a outdoor bbq . The bed a decor was another big plus . They also provide pool floats. Dishes and flatware are provided.

comfortable beds, very clean, they have 2 swimming pools plus a hot tub and the owners/staff are amazing
honestly, there’s nothing I didn’t like about the property, everything was perfect

The property is older but well maintained. some rooms have a lovely view of the valley. the pool was super clean, the staff could not have been better. room was very large and just as pictures in website. the pools are open 24/7. it is a great value for what it offers.
the Lido is outdated but if you are really going for a quiet hot waters retreat you can choose to ignore that it is not stylish. the steam room doesn’t get hot enough. You cannot ignore that if you want to use it

a bit far inland but worth the drive

Awesome pool and hot tubs. Comfy living space.
The person at the front desk was not very hospitable. When I asked where the indoor hot tub and sauna were, she was condescending in her answer.

This is a quiet property with wonderful pools to enjoy Desert Hot Springs' famous mineral water. The three pools are kept clean. The chairs and patio provide a wonderful place to relax. The rooms, with their kitchenettes, offer more options on how you want to enjoy your time and spend your money. The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms clean, and the room big enough to enjoy on a lazy day if you are not at the pools.
The staff were great! They were helpful with the amenities and local knowledge. We really enjoyed learning about the wildlife, the history of the hotel, and more about the water (and how to find it) all around the hotel. Thank you Lido Palms staff for a great trip. This was a late birthday trip that had also been delayed by illness. It was a real delight and we look forward to returning!
My only suggestion is that the property may want to offer or put in bath mats in the showers. Some of the products offered in the rooms (shampoo, body wash) make the bottom of the shower very slippery.
Other than that, this property was wonderful. We were sad to leave.
6.0
Large rooms, huge beds, pillows to choose from, extra blankets, two pools and a jacuzzi, in-room kitchen
The kitchen is very poorly equipped: old ragged pots and pans without lids, terrible plastic glasses, an incomplete set of spoons and forks, no salad bowls or just deep bowls. One huge knife. No tea. It was all before! With the change of owners, the hotel is falling into disrepair. Guests from China swim in the pool in their clothes, one of the guests smokes on the territory by the pool. All this spoils the mood, because a night in this spa hotel costs more than $ 200
