The pool, the hot tub, the outside setting, and the fire pit area, they have a very nice relaxing setup.
The entrance. Trying to leave the parking area was challenging because you can not see the on coming cars.

This is an incredible property, selected for our honeymoon in Napa Valley and surroundings. This hotel is one of the reasons of the fantastic experience we have lived. Breakfast (gourmand two course meal, changing every day), service, warmth, room (spacious and what a design!), everything - literally everything - gave us a smile, several times per day.

Loved the service, food and the people. Very well appointed premises and made for couples.
The Infinity TV did not work and had problems with the safe.

This is a gorgeous and intimate hotel with impeccable service. Each sitting area is thoughtful and unique and highlights the gorgeous landscape. The entire property feels private.

I loved the care and yummy food! Excu chef and wait people!
I could hear the guy next door blow his nose and I could hear the people upstairs walking during the night. You can hear through the walls Room4

Pool and hot tub 24/7 access was wonderful.
Comfortable bed.
Soft,clean linens.
Bathrobes were so incredible I purchased one to take home.
The staff were so helpful.
The breakfast was delicious-took special care to note my dietary needs and we had fresh Californian ingredients.
The wine and light snacks in the afternoon made it even more special, with local wines which was a huge bonus.
Restaurant at the top of the road was DELICIOUS!
Ample parking, beautiful grounds!
Being in a downstairs room we could occasionally hear upstairs- minor issue for us

The exterior and overall layout/design was so unexceptional we NEVER checked in. There are endless ramps leading to a check- in off the kitchen ( smell from kitchen overpowering ), exterior elevator ( which we needed ) - just an exposed metal platform with sides, and catwalks. The desk person was exceptionally kind and understanding and helped facilitate a refund with both Booking.com and the owner. We were happy to lose the first night deposit just to leave quickly. We did not see the room as we knew we would not stay and we were reluctant to use the “elevator” ( my husband uses a cane). Booking should take a closer look at thus property.

Breakfast and pool was lovely.
My room had a terrible ant infestation and there were spiders crawling out of the plumbing.

Breakfast was amazing! The Hotel and staff were outstanding. The location is a bit remote but you can walk to Glenellen, though the road is not ideal for walkers. Overall a great Hotel. Free snacks, wine and coffee each day was wonderful.
We were in a first floor room and the foot noise overhead was quite loud. The noise stopped at a reasonable time, so just for awareness. Also just for awareness, since the hotel is small there is no early check in. They are nice about allowing you to use the grounds to wait or set up a tasting at a nearby winery to pass the time.

The Olea was easy to find....located in a peaceful area of Glen Ellen. Walking distance to the main streets of town where there are lovely restaurants. Breakfast was fantastic, changing each day and delicious. Staff was phenomenal with suggestions, calling for spur of the moment wine tasting, lanterns for evening walks...heated bathroom floors...room refreshing to have beds made and everything wiped down --- the little things made a huge difference on top of the hotel being lovely.
Traffic could be a little loud when in a room facing the pool, surprisingly so for such a quiet area. Very sporadic though! I wish there were a few more hooks in the bathroom for robes post-pool.

The front desk personnel were extremely helpful. I accidentally left my computer in the room and traveled home and they treated it and me like royalty - helping me find, box, and return my computer to me via UPS. They treated my things like their own and were very communicative and helpful. I am forever grateful for Doris, Joesph, and David. The Eucalyptus steam room and dry sauna were amazing - like a tier 1 health club. At a very lower room price and walking distance to downtown - value-wise our stay was a great experience. After they replace the pool they will be top tier.
The pool and jacuzzi - although having great mineral springs water and VERY warm has old pool walls - a little dirty. And the pumps were loud and constant (that pump mineral water). But VERY relaxing. As I understand it- mgmt is going to move the pool and jacuzzi to a new location and both will be brand new. That will make this hotel high grade in my humble opinion.

Location is great - super central to a lot of vineyards and wineries. Service was very friendly and attentive as well. We really appreciated the hot coffee, tea, and wine bar that was generally available to guests until 9pm. Breakfast was *delicious*, albeit way too little. Two-course "meal" - for us, a scone with condensed milk and a calconne with fried egg on top. Both were so delicious, but I was still hungry by the end. Hot tub and heated pool were great as well.
The room was a lot smaller than I thought it would be, and I kind of question if we actually had a queen bed (seemed smaller than the one I have at home!). I'd say the nightly rate is definitely in the mid-to-higher end and the room size did make it feel like we didn't quite get bang for our buck.
The driveway did NOT feel safe to come out of. There is absolutely no visibility until you're basically on the road, which is so dangerous because cars do speed down the highway. Would really recommend the hotel consider reconstructing the driveway given the steep slope you come down from to get onto the highway.

Great free breakfast. Room was fantastic. Wish the location was walking distance to shops and restaurants. It was in more of a residential neighborhood.

Room was very clean, decorated nicely, and provided all necessary accouterments ( except a microwave- which would have been nice!); had plenty of room for my cosmetics in the bathroom! Loved the heated bathroom floor!!! So very nice with cold November mornings. Enjoyed our fireplace immensely!
Breakfast selections were unique and delicious!
Bed very comfortable; sheets so soft and towels plush!
Housekeeping did a great job freshening up our room each day! Thank you!,
Complimentary wine and snacks very nice!, thank you
All staff members were extremely pleasant and helpful. Special thank you to Gretchen for telling me how to easily get to the Sonoma regional Trail for my morning run!!staff went above and beyond to meet your needs/ requests and make you comfortable.
Will definitely recommend Olea to anyone visiting the area.
Only slightly negative was the parking lot repair work going on while there... we were Called about this happening during our stay but was a little inconvenient getting in and out in the morning.
Not a big deal though- all good!
