Ridgway lodge was perfect for what we needed.
Everything was new! Nothing to not like.

Beautiful, modern, spacious room. Clean, well equipped. Nice view.
8.0
Nice cozy place to rest between activities. The room had a lot of USB plug options.
The room size and shower were a bit small. The air conditioner was loud but okay since we prefer sleeping with white noise. Unfortunately, the mountain view came with a view of the highway.

Location was fine as it was in the town that we needed to be in but I think it took advantage over there being very little choice. The young girl on reception was exceptional but this was the only good thing about the place.
This was not a cheap motel, nearly £200 a night yet the reception is a building site which you have to walk through to get into the reception. The work goes on all day. The reception is now in a bedroom. This was not made apparent on the hotel information prior to booking as I would never have booked here. I found this out with the email confirmation sent to me after I had paid. It does say there is some work going on and ‘we hope it does not inconvenience you’. The whole section is being remodelled so yes, it does affect your stay. We arrived at 3.30 but could not check in half an hour early but when we did, I made it quite clear to the young girl on reception that I was not happy at all and would be leaving this review as well as a review on TripAdvisor and Google. I had subsequently read some reviews where the reply from management stated that the complaint should have been raised with them so I made this quite clear that I was unhappy. I do not want a reply to this stating that I had not made my disappointment apparent. The young girl was excellent but should not have been left to deal with unhappy guests on her own. I had booked two nights and was limited in where else to go so I felt trapped but decided to make the most of it. However, It was a very expensive, cheap and dirty basic motel.
The coffee maker had one coffee sachet and two condiment bags so one coffee each for the duration of a two day start. Paper cups for goodness sake, paper cups when paying £200 night. Little plastic stirrers and one coffee for £200 night. I am appalled. You get more in a Travelodge for £49 night. To cap it all, I accidentally spilt some of my coffee on the floor, so in an attempt to wipe it up, I ended up picking up clumps of black hair that had been cut by a previous guest and lodged under the bedside cabinet along with dust and dirt that had obviously not been cleaned up in a while. I am talking about a lot of black hair.

Very nice place. Pretty good location. Walking distance from some nice restautants.
Will be much nicer once they finish renovating. I would have expected a heads-up on the renovations going on, and perhaps a discounted price as long as they renovating.

Property was close to my brother's house.
Cost was overpriced, location is in remodeling process. but prices were not reflective, and dust was evident. No comfortable chair in the room. Only a metal strait back. o place to sit. Shower and bathroom are not convenient. Bathroom door doesn't allow for access to room easily and shower stall is not user friendly. Shelf is in poor location, and it is difficult to turn on and regulate the water temperature in the shower.

Good distance from Ouray, if you want to save some money. It's dog friendly.
The pillows were either too soft or too hard and lumpy.
It was being remodeled. The room gets very muggy.

The facilities are being updated and the rooms look nice. The area is great and the views are beautiful.
We were not told when we booked that there was a massive construction project. The front desk was in a converted hotel room. When you walk in it was just an open construction area. The breakfast was now just bagels which were stale. Our last stay was much better.
9.0
proximity to Orvis Hot Springs, lots of room to walk the dog, comfortable clean room, popcorn in room, pet friendly, location
new restaurant construction (should be done by June), i paid through booking.com and was charged again by the hotel. the hotel manager did not, nor staff member, stay in touch with me to let me know the status of the refund. the refund took well over 24 hours. breakfast was bagels and apples. $25 extra for dog

The location was ideal. Bar/cafe area was nice - free tea and popcorn! The room was very very comfortable. Even the toiletries were nice. Staff was friendly and helpful.

We arrived just after the kitchen shut down for renovations, so food was minimal and there was some noise with construction for which the staff apologized for. Should be great when all renovations are complete.
