The staff were nice
The rooms were awful. The furniture was missing drawers. The fiest room we checked into, the dresser/desk was missing 3 drawers, the rest of it was beat up. The TV was not much larger than a computer monitor. They let us move to another room where the furniture was ONLY missing two drawers. The beds were hard as rocks. The breakfast was poor even by hotel standards. House keeping didn't come because they didn't have enough staff.

Exceedingly friend staff members at the front desk are very welcoming. Everything is clean and nicely maintained. Hearty breakfast options. Great place to stay when visiting Pullman!
Love staying here on non-event weekends. However, like every other property in Pullman, there's no way to stay here on event weekends. The cost goes way up and the availability is impossible. Not unique to Coast Hilltop Inn, but still a bummer.

TV or remote didn't work. Bed was hard and uncomfortable, bathroom was not sanitized, so I cleaned it myself. I reserved 2 rooms and the family that stayed in 2nd room had same complaints. Plus key cards did not work, we all had to go to guest table multiple times to have it fixed. I will not stay again.

Hotel and room were very clean. Staff was excellent. Pluses: breakfast, water station in the lobby, price, cleanliness
Minuses: Thin walls - could hear anyone walking by or in nearby rooms Cable & internet - poor wifi connection and cable selection was pretty limited.

Very nice property. I would stay there again. Breakfast room was nice with an outside eating area. Danish items would have been good to include in choices. Bed was comfortable. Starbucks coffee in room was awesome.
I paid extra for a city view. Beautiful view, but next to a busy street with a lot of road noise. Not bad with window closed, but I like window open a bit.

Room was wonderful , comfortable and clean.
Check in service was very disappointing. The room was not ready until after 5pm for checkin. We understand staffing issues but the front desk clerk very cool and almost unpleasant. Offered no apology. When we did finally get a room, (that we had booked far in advance) the night clerk was the opposite , very friendly and apologetic. Very disappointed with day clerk. Not the experience we thought we would have. We travel to Pullman regularly and thought we'd try your hotel.

Location is ideal. Top of the hill and less than a mile to DT Pullman. Just go up (literally) main street and youre back to your hotel. Being next to a cemetery makes it kinda cool. I would look out the window and there's people walking around the cemetary at night. Pretty awesome

We enjoyed the clean, fresh environment and the helpful, friendly staff. We experienced some GREAT food thanks to the recommendations of staff. Rancho Viejo and Zoe's coffee and cafe had excellent food and beverages! Whenever we needed anything at all, it was clear our awesome staff was smart, willling and ready to help. We also used the common-room living area to play cards and visit in the evening. I have to say - the shower was OUTSTANDING and the hot water was almost instant to come to temperature. It more than made up for some of the other lesser points.
I stay in hotels at least 10x per year. I really, REALLY wanted to LOVE this place! But, all of the pillows were horribly uncomfortable, and the bed didn't win any stars. Be aware - the breakfast is strictly continental - cold items only. But a good variety of what is there.
