Quintessential “inn” decor and complementary breakfast! Staff were friendly and welcoming.
Housekeeping needs to be requested each morning—I missed that memo (though it is stated on the pamphlet in the room). Room bathroom is very dated, but clean!

People were very rude place was dirty.
It was horrible room was not clean when we arrived and the manager and staff were to lazy to clean the room for my husband and I. We have never been so miserable treated and have stayed at other laces world wide. This place has bed bugs and has German roaches.

Lovely Inn in a perfect location close to the White Mountains. Donna was very warm and gracious in her hospitality, and had some great hiking recommendations.

Cute and comfortable antique inn. Pretty location near beautiful hiking and scenic areas. We had a restful stay.
we stayed early in the week, the dining room is only open Thursday- Sunday, same is true for most restaurants in town which limited our dining options.

Location, service
Oder when entering building, no TV in room and no refrigerator.

Very good evening meal and breakfast and coffee available at any time. Comfortable room and interesting old building.excellent local information provided.
Restaurant and bar were closed on Monday and Tuesday and nearest alternative was a car ride away.

Beautiful location
The room was very hot, there was a cockroach in the room, the restaurant was closed to a private function even though the website said it was open, and the pool was empty.

We enjoyed a tasty family breakfast, drinks and dinner in the Pub, conversation by the woodfire, walking on the trails.
It was perfect!

Very cozy common areas with fireplaces, cozy bar serving drinks and meals. It was fun to find a gaming room with tennis, foosball table (which was mirrored for left handed people for some reason) and some arkade games.
The bed was too soft and not comfortable. No tv, the room is very small. It was not perfectly clean either, I'd say 7-8/10 (some hair in the sink, on the towel). Overall quite clean (surfaces, floor, bed).

Great location and friendly staff. Enjoyed horseback riding, exploring the property and the pub. All the food was very good.

It was a traditional inn with a log fire lounge and welcoming entrance hall. Staff were friendly.
The pub food looked great on display but in fact menu was extremely limited with one poor lady serving everyone in the pub. She was very nice but totally under resourced for the amount of guests either staying or visiting.
We had a deluxe room but the bathroom was very tired and would benefit from an upgrade.

The location was very nice. We were only there one night so we didn't get to experience everything the Inn had to offer.

Bigger room would have been nice

Breakfast was fantastic and staff helpful

Call it granny chic - super cute and quaint but I definitely was the youngest solo traveler in there. Clean and had all amenities I needed. Comfy beds.
Material shower curtains...
No plug socket beside the bed to charge my phone and I'm not digging deep behind a mattress.

Appeared they were a little under staffed

Wait staff at the restaurant and bar were very friendly and accommodating. Meals were good and reasonably priced. Check in/out was very smooth. Offered hot tea and coffee. Fire places were lit and offered a warm respite. Notebook in the room had detailed descriptions of things to do in the area.
Shower head could be easily updated. Provide a warning about ticks in the fields. We came out of a short hike with 3! A little unsettling.
