Great for the budget-minded traveler

The staff was very friendly. It was very clean and quiet, and the beds were comfortable. It was an extremely good value for the money, too, including a pet fee that was really reasonable. It was fun to see an excellent vegetable garden outside!

The breakfast was not worth eating. We left and went for fast food instead.

decent place if you are traveling on a budget

The AC worked well, the front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the room had a working microwave with a running shower. It did the job for our weekend stay in Front Royal and I would choose to stay again. You get a decent place to stay for a decent price! Close to shenendoah park and skyline caverns. Pleasantly surprised. I travel a lot! Based on price, amenities, room condition, and noise levels: I rate this hotel a 5.5 out of 10. Neutral feelings about it, but leaning more toward positive based on customer service and price! (85 a night for 1 king bed + microwave/fridge)

LOTS OF NOISE and banging!! Our room was right by the entrance and elevator so we heard everything all hours. Sounds like kids stampeding through the halls and hammers hitting the walls. Didn't sleep well. Hair everywhere (in the mini fridge, in the shower, on the sheets...). Damage to the wall from prior guests. Charged the wrong card, but it wasn't too big of a problem because if you do credit card, they don't take out a (refundable) accidental damage coverage fee of $100.

Horrible

The room had very uncomfortable mattresses and pillows. The bed was very uncomfortable. had to go and buy an air mattress. The bathroom door was coming off the hinges. It was a cheap room. You're better off spending a little more somewhere else.

We felt the property was very tired and really the facility was in disrepair - not acceptable to have holes in the walls

Facility was old and run down Holes in walls / bathroom really needed a remodel / location was unfortunately noisy / breakfast could have been better (coffee was like water )

Perfekt für einen Roadtrip.

Wir hatten nichts zu bemängeln, die Lage ist perfekt, man ist schnell im Shenandoah Nationalpark. Das Personal war super freundlich und gab viele Tips für die Gegend. Parkplätze sind auch ausreichend vorhanden. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Easy walk to local restaurants. It’s an old property but was mostly clean and had all basic amenities.

this hotel has the potential to be amazing. the location is nice and honestly it is the nicest hotel in that general are

the staff overall is friendly enough. it’s in the heart of Front Royal which is also nice because you can walk to local stores and restaurants.

It was not clean or updated and the trash was sitting in the hallways by the stair and elevators on each floor. It smelled terrible when you opened room door or entered the floor. the blankets were itchy and weird, not at all comfortable or cozy or even clean. They definitely need replacing or bring your own bedding! the bathrooms weren’t very clean and you can tell shower heads and drains haven’t been cleaned in a long while. Walls are paper thin!

It wasn't clean the bathroom wasn't clean enough had dirt in it clogged up when you take a shower

The room wouldn't stay warm bed had a dent in it when you lay down in it wasn't clean enough

Superb

it is conveniently located just outside the Front Royal Entrance to the Shenandoah NP. It serves it purpose as a place to sleep and rest. There's good parking and it is decent value for money. It is a 2 star motel, so temper your expectations based on that.

One of the top bed coverings had stains on them. Not dirty stains, but old stains.
