Great layover spot to break up road trip!

Staff and cleanliness

The only thing was the light in the shower was broken. Bathroom very very small.

My stay was very nice, hotel in convenient location, and I will return.

Breakfast was alright. I think it could be changed to something different. The bedroom was different with the wash bowl not being in the bathroom. The basketball court wasn't available. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay, and everyone was so nice and pleasant.

The only think I didn't like was the dogs all over the place and some guest not being considered of other guest when out on the property with the dogs.

Never again

Dogs barking all night. The room smelled absolutely awful, a car was being repossessed right outside our window at 1:00am in the morning, we were up all night because then the police came, we were charged over $1000.00 for four nights when we showed desk clerk what online was charging she said “oh no now it’s $350 a night which was not true. The powder the guy kept shaking all over the floor made me sick. We stayed In the Sleep Inn in North Carolina and it was wonderful. Not this location. We checked out to stay longer at The Breakers. Thank God. I’m Writing to Corporate about not adjusting the charge and how awful it was there

Great location, staff, rooms, and breakfast

The staff were extremely kind and pleasant. The room was huge and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was amazing! The outdoor swim area was perfect for gathering our family for dinner. The kids loved the pool. The location was wonderful, only 5 miles to the beach we went to. It was nice that they allowed dogs, but it didn't smell like dogs at all.

Nice place to stay for young kids!

The adult pool and kiddie pool were great!! They were able to accommodate us on a short notice. The staff were very helpful for us.

I felt the room was tiny. The toilet and shower leaked so we listened to dripping water in the night. I wish there was a place to put wet towels (like in the hallway) after in the room and garbage cans in the hallway after ordering food to the hotel to eat. The small garbage cans don’t hold much.

The staff was absolutely great and extremely friendly.

Staff was extremely friendly and very helpful on places to eat and things to do. The entire staff was the best thing about this hotel.

The couch in our room (117) had a really bad smell. The breakfast room was a little small and made getting breakfast very difficult.

OK for a short stay

The location was very close to the outlets. There was also a beach within 12 minutes of the hotel. Very clean in the lobby area and the staff were extremely friendly.

The room could have been a little cleaner. There was a toy in the corner someone left behind. The bathroom walls needed a thorough cleaning. The toilet rocked when you sat on it, and I was a little surprised as to how small the bathroom was. Can't stream anything on the tv either.

I stayed when there was two baseball youth tournaments and a wedding party. The noise was outrageous. Constant banging and running overhead and through the hallways.

Fun and friendly

It was very close to the beach. The pool was great and the hours were nice so my kids could enjoy a late swim. The staff was amazing and so friendly. I went to the desk multiple times during my stay to ask for different things and the staff never gave me a problem. They were so great and got me what I needed. My vacation was so nice and I would definitely go back to this hotel.

FIND ANOTHER PLACE

The breakfast was very good as was the woman who keep refilling all of the items there who was very pleasant. There was plenty of variety and the tables were kept clean as well.

Our room had a stale odor in it as did the entire hotel. I believe it was coming from the carpets. The bathroom door was very noisy and kept waking up the children when operated because it was so close to the pull-out sofa bed. The bathroom was poorly laid out without privacy between lavatory and sink. There were not enough lounge chairs in the pool area. The pools were much smaller than expected from the photo. There was lot of noise from other guests which continued up until late at night and nothing was done about it. Also, I have never been in a hotel that charged additional money for use of an in-room, safe-especially at the high price we paid for this hotel! I couldn't believe that they didn't automatically offer housekeeping or fresh towels daily unless we asked for it. I would not recommended this hotel to anyone-that's for sure!

The hotel is quite nice, the only bad thing is a cigarette smoke smell in the room.

The breakfast was good and tasty and the staff was friendly!

The only thing that spoiled all the impression of the hotel was a terrible smell in the room. It was a strong cigarette smoke smell, it was disgusting and not healthy especially for kids to spend the night in such a room. Unfortunately the hotel was fully booked and we couldn’t get another room to change.
