Wonderful weekend getaway!

I love this hotel and try to stay there whenever we are in town. The rooms are extremely comfortable, the morning breakfast is fantastic and the bar staff is always friendly.

Very disappointed. I would not have chosen the hotel if I had known there were no gluten free options

Clean and close to where I needed to be. Safe

I was told they have a gluten free options. When it came to breakfast for my daughter who has celiac disease. I was told that the manager decided it was not worth it to offer gluten free options. The bread was frozen and there was no special way to warm it up. More importantly. There was no effort from the staff to help.

Clean, Modern Hotel in West Des Moines.

I love the overall vibe of the hotel with the decor that paid homage to Iowa's farming culture. The room was nicely sized, clean and the bed was comfortable. The hotel is located in West Des Moines so it was an easy 15 minute drive to Drake University.

The shower isn't private. The shower and sink are in a nook that is open to the room while the toliet is in a separate room with a door. It's easy enough to give people their privacy when showering by staying in the bed area but wanted others to know.

This new property is excellent in all areas.

This new property was exceptional in all ways. We appreciated the excellent service and delicious food in the restaurant. We had a delicious evening meal and a fine breakfast. I meant every excellent rating I marked, it was that good.

Superb

Staff was excellent. Breakfast was very good. The hotel is beautiful. The doors are heavier than expected, and there is the open shower issue. That wasn't a problem for us. I did go through booking.com, and have had an extra charge issue that the hotel wasn't able to help with as I had booked externally. I would stay here again.

Cute hotel. Little expensive. Definitely need a pool for families staying here.

Breakfast was ok. Good variety. Restaurant was nice addition. One of the main reasons we booked this hotel was the restaurant option. Loved the robes in the suite. Nice shower! Comfy beds. Very quiet hotel.

Not very kid friendly breakfast though. Waffles or biscuits and gravy would have been nice. There was no pool and Priceline advertised for a pool and the main reason we booked here was for this supposed pool. Then arrive and come to find out there is NO POOL. Very disappointing. Not worth the money I spent on the room either. Also at check in I told the front desk we did not bring our dog and they still charged me for a pet fee. I had to call to get it refunded back on my card.

Beautiful hotel, awesome staff, great price value.

Beautiful hotel! Love the decor & the vibe. Wonderful staff. Breakfast was awesome. Our room was so nice! It was a short stay for us & wished we could have stayed longer. Will definitely book again & recommend to others!

Amazing! Right when you walk in it’s gorgeous! Friendly staff and great amenities. Bar was amazing. Bed was super comfy. My girlfriend and I slept like babies. Robes and slippers were super comfy. Very homey as well.

Breakfast didn’t look like a good selection. But we also got some towards the end of breakfast.

Shower sucked but all else was fine.

Everything about the hotel was fine. No complaints about the staff or building.

The water in the shower was hard. I couldn't feel clean. Also, it should have come with a free breakfast.
