VERY LOUD ALL NIGHT LONG - some noise FROM EMPLOYEES - some noise from non-guests who hang around

One of only two affordable places in town.

The problem wasn't the hotel.... the problem was all the people who kept messing around in the parking lot. ALL hours of the night, people would come into the lot, blasting their stereos... others would park right up at the building and have very loud "conversations" while sitting in their cars or standing beside them -- they would practically YELL to communicate. i don't know what their problem was... but when they are so loud that a person in their hotel room can't hear to have a phone conversation or watch TV... or SLEEP, it is a huge problem. Other people would sit in their cars all night... constantly opening and slamming their doors, walking around the parking lot.... these people weren't even staying in rooms there. This was the second time I stayed here and it, definitely, was my last. The bed was PAINFULLY LUMPY... I had to lay across it at a 45-degree angle to try to find a spot that wasn't jabbing into my back... but then the noise from the parking lot roamers would start all night. On my second night, I heard a VERY, VERY, VERY LOUD CONVERSATION GOING ON RIGHT OUTSIDE MY DOOR.... the two ladies were about EIGHT FEET from my door, "yelling" to each other to converse for 3.5 hours.... I then realized that one of these ladies WAS A HOTEL EMPLOYEE. She would go to a far corner room to get sheets or towels... and then she'd come right back to my door to resume her conversation. I got almost no sleep while I was there... when I attempted to drive home, I had to stop several times and try to get some naps in.... that put me back several hours.

while we were there there was a drug overdose next to us and prostitution. the electrical outlets were exposed, there were no ice cause the machine was broke down.and they are no where near the beach.dont stay there its a drug house and we are trying to get our money back cause we left two days early.

It was quiet.

I didn’t like that we didn’t have house keeping everyday and had to go ask for towels and when you got to the front to ask , she couldn’t provide the quality you needed . I also did not like the fact that the lady at the front desk was rude Everytime you had to go in there to get something from her.

Tacky, lack of common manners, could've been cleaner and things easily fixed with little to cost

Cost was very comparable

Front desk employee was obnoxious, had a passive aggressive tone in her speech, and doesn't understand the need in professionalism, in that she was not shy about speaking poorly about a coworker with another employee while customers were present. Gossip and berating anyone, much less a colleague leaves a bad taste in a customer's mouth I declined to go forth with my plans I'd had previously to continue booking our business' upcoming 9 month project with this hotel specifically due to the lack of care and simple professional demeanor during this first/only experience. Cost them a continuous and confirmed several thousand dollars a month in taking business elsewhere.

Overall, a decent stay

Everything was pretty clean. Location is nice and staff was nice.

During our 3 day stay there were 2 live cockroaches that I killed and one dead one on the floor when we arrived.. Unfortunately, those things just happen no matter how clean. The room and beds were very clean. Mattress protectors on all beds and the linens smelled of bleach which was a plus. Only true downfall I have is we never received our $100 security deposit back in our checking account. I even cleaned our room before checking out because I hate leaving a mess. Overall, it was a good family stay for a cheap, quick, vacation to the beach.

I want disappointed and I'll definitely stay again

The staff was very friendly and efficient. We had extra guests in our room which meant we needed extra towels and such each day. This was done automatically after the first request. Upon arrival, they greeted us and gave information about local tourist attractions and places to eat. I cannot say enough about the staff!

Honestly, my only complaint is that the towels were rough. They could use a bit of fabric softener.
