I went to go stay this past weekend and apparently I was flagged for “do not rent” for smoking in the room the last time, but I never smoked in my life and they never found any proof. They also tried to charge me for the smoking fee. I have stayed here 10+ times, so they should know I don’t smoke in the rooms.

Very friendly staff. Reasonable price.
Room was ROUGH. Outdated hallway rugs, marked walls. In the room, the bathroom door was falling apart, it felt very dingy, and the TV was set high up on a sloped cabinet, teetering off. If we weren't so tired from driving 12 hours we would have found other accommodations.

Security at the front desk and doors was top notch

Everything me and my co-workers went to stay at the location
Walking in to check in the guy at the desk was extremely rude
He threw the rooms keys on the counter and was rude discussing
Our payment methods loudly and etc.
The next day around 11/12pm we got the call that a family member
Had passed away so we had to leave immediately yes it was after the 11 c/o
Time but instead of being considerate I was met at the front desk with the
Rude “manager” lady who wanted to be smart about who was all in the room
And after answering her 3xs telling her we all are packed and walking
Out she kept asking and I was on a phone call with my sister whom said
Well did you just tell her that 3xs and so the “manager” jumped in my phone
Convo and said “I can ask 6 more times if I want to” and that’s where the
Argument and disrespect started I work for a hotel and regardless we are
NEVER allowed to disrespect a guest And our problem came from her
Getting into my personal phone conversation but long story short
We was banned, police was called and I was told by owner we would get a refund
For Thursday night since we would not be there because we was scheduled
To check out on Friday morning and NEVER received the refund
This hotel is wayyyyyy outdated, roaches were everywhere and the staff was horrible.

The price was fine for what I paid for.
The front doors never opened with the card. We had to ask to be let in every time we came back to the hotel. Check out time was 11am but as we were packing the car at 10am the room card stopped working. The rooms were dated, the tv was mounted sideways to the clothes cabinet which did not look like a safe design at all.

The room was clean
The area was bad

The coffee pot was plugged in the next morning before we left . And it had a burning wire smell so I unplugged it. When I checked out my card was charged $277. Plus tax. And when I called to ask why. The attendant lied and said she found ashes. And smelled smoke. I smoke cigarettes. And I didn't even bring them in you could see me go outside to my car to smoke. And I only went one time that night. She proceeded to yell and say she have proof and a picture of ashes. So when asked to show it she yelled and hung up.

elevator was out of order. Non-smoking room had a smoke odor.

This was the worst Microtel property we ever stayed in. the rooms need a lot of work, the access was through the front door only and you need to ring a bell to get in. the breakfast was well below Microtel standards, toast, muffins, coffee juice a few other items. Most of the other items yogurt, boiled eggs etc.. had run out.
on this trip we stayed in 3 Microtel properties and this was by far the worst ever. Dob’t stay. will definetly find another place on our return trip.

everything there was a dirty rag in the floor when I first checked into the room then the next morning I was stuck in the elevator for 30 minutes and was calling the front desk and no one answered then when the door finally opened I go outside and the clerk is outside smoking a cigarette and I told her I had been calling the front desk for at least 30 minutes twice and she said well I just came out here if she would have just went out there then why didn’t she answer the phone the picture is the dirty rag that we got off the floor I didn’t even trip about that but when I got stuck in the elevator that was it

The location was convenient. No smoking property, unless you’re the employee and smoke right at the front door.
Elevator was not working for the three days I was there. My room was on the 4th floor. It appears families are living there and are very noisy. Constant door slamming all night.

They were updating it. Much needed....but it was fairly clean

It was nice to have coffee and tea available all the time. Was surprised that they offered a limited breakfast because I didn't notice that when I booked it.
The elevator was broken and inconvenient when staying on upper floors
