Das Star Inn in Barstow ist ein nettes Motel an der Route 66 mit freundlichem Personal und für eine Transitübernachtung durchaus zu empfehlen. Das Zimmer ist zwar klein, aber fein, sauber, zweckmäßig und für den Preis völlig in Ordnung, Parkplätze sind vorhanden.

Für diese Preiskategorie ist alles ok.

Comfy bed, clean room, clean bathroom

Though the room was clean, the carpeting had stains that made it feel dirty, towels were clean but a bit raggedy, no filters for coffeemaker, fridge was left off so had a bad odor, the AC took a long time to cool down room.

I have not eat any breakfast there. I am sure they provide some breakfast like naan.

Nothing I didnt like, but it is very old hotel that been standing for decades Theyre doing their best to keep it satisfying for our stay whenever we appoint a room

Good for a one night stop, I didn't expect more than that. Nice receptionist. Good location. Fridge and microwave in the room.

A bit of renovation would do good. A bit of personal touch would be quite nice.

not really anything

gross, dirty, old. pet friendly but zero places for pets to use the bathroom. not ideal at all. I stayed here vs paying a little extra for somewhere else because reviews said it was pleasant. no. it was pretty gross in my opinion, I wanted to take a bath but the room and bathroom were so old and grimy I couldn’t fathom even using it. I don’t need much but never stayed somewhere that made me feel gross being there. I would have left if it werent non refundable or cancelable. yikes. needs a make over honestly

passing by I would never stop, but it’s actually much nicer than appears

some minor things. soap was very bad, almost unusable.

I wanna go back but.....

I loved the fact that it has a kitchenette for my children

I didn't like the fact I reserved the room for two days but when I arrived they only allowed us to stay for one night with no explanation of why.

Very good value for the price. I'd stay there again.

Since the property was located in a "downtown business area"I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet my room was. The staff was very friendly. Very easy access to the fwy to continue my trip. The room was clean and comfortable.

Noisy trash bin pickup at around 7AM.
