it was quite
the parking lot was filled with litter. We were given a handicapped room and had to sit on the floor to use the microwave. The bathroom had no counters to place your toothbrush, etc. The shower was hard to use and water ran all over the floor. I chose this hotel because of the pictures of the room and they were definitely not taken there. the room was dark and depressing.

Location was a short drive to family we were visiting
Room, public areas, elevator.
Furniture was out dated and very very very worn. Looked as if the furniture was left over from a garage sale. If you needed clean towels you had to take the dirty towels to the desk & request clean. Housekeepiing was an extra charge that isn't disclosed until you sign in. Ad says they offer free breakfast, which is 3 pots of coffee in the loddy. Public areas are not well cleaned. Elevator sometimes did not want to work plus dirty. The cook top in the room was an old style 2 place hot plate style. Light fixtures in room were old and some had damage. If you wanted cooking items, pans, plates etc you had to get items from the front desk, if they had the item. You had to enter thru the front lobby door. Could not enter thru exterior doors becasue they had removed all all access swipe pads. Guests & employees blocked exterior doors open so they could go outside to smoke. When done doors were left blocked open and unsecured. Have never had a hotel ask for ID's from others staying in the room. To me this is a red flag that they have issues at this property.
In the past stayed at a Hilton Homes 2 Suites in the area. Had none of these issues and was minimally more.

It was quiet and I could set the air conditioning the way I wanted
The bathroom at first glance was clean but upon closer inspection we found body hair under the thankfully sealed cups

Coffee was great but was always out.
Didn’t have the room I reserved and paid for already. One gentleman at front desk wasn’t very helpful over the phone. Didn’t seem like he wanted to answer my questions. And please change the rollaway beds. Or provide better bed padding. I slept on springs, thinking the room I reserved would be available for us. I wouldn’t have to complain about the rollaways. BUT housekeeping was VERY helpful and concerned about our comfort.

Location
The lobby, hallway, stairs and carpet are dirty.
Check-in time is 3:00 P.M. I arrived at 7:00 P.M, yet still they said my room was not ready and was being cleaned, so I had to wait 45 minutes more.

The bed.
The lack of an actual breakfast.

Staff was polite and friendly.
On site amenities lacking such as no pop machine. The room didn't have a light fixture in half of it so we had to use our phone flashlight. Ceiling fan didn't work. Very well worn building, could use an update to feel like the place won't soon be closed.

The staff very friendly and accommodating and a time of sorrow for myself, due to a death in the family. I would definitely recommend to anyone staying here short-term, long-term- good location off US Rt 60. Jen and Zowie very helpful.
General COVID inconveniences. Nothing the staff or the hotel had anything to do with.
