Location was good for visiting beaches. Room was clean, bed was comfy.
Wifi would only connect for a few minutes at a time. I ended up spending hours at a local McDonald's just to be able to do some work.

The location was good and the room was quite large.
The room was not exactly spotless. The garbage can right outside the room really needed to be emptied, it was attracting seagulls.

Very clean. Pretty nice staff. Bathroom has been remodeled and the shower is updated. Bed was comfy. Nice property. It did not look like much from the outside but the rooms were pretty nice.
A lot of hotels are going away from carpet. If this one had tile instead of carpet, I would have given better marks. As all hotel, more hooks to hang clothes or towels would be helpful.

I read the reviews after I booked the room. Some of the reviews weren't great, especially concerning the cleanliness of the room. I was going to cancel my reservation but decided to give it a chance. I'm glad that I did. The location perfect, the room is clean, and the beds are comfortable. We ended up staying additional two more nights. The owner, Nick, is so friendly, helpful and very kind.

The room had been recently renovated; it was exceptionally clean, smelled nice and was very quiet.
We have no negative thoughts or comments to share

Fairly quiet after 11pm. Noisy before 11pm. Bed was comfortable. Sheets were short.
The heater was hard to adjust. Put temp up higher and got only cold air. Didn't have the a/c on just the heat.

Linen was clean. Beds were comfortable. There was free (yet very spotty) Internet.
Right off the start we were taken aback by the list of rules that were only presented while in the room. One of them said "No people with hair dye allowed." Neither one of us dye our hair. Yet we thought this very unusually cruel to find rules stating these people would have to pay more or get out.... These rules were only seeable after paying for the room. We also smelled smoke in our room when entering for the first time. Neither one of us are smokers. There was a pre-burnt hole in the curtain. On the [now called] last minute rules, was a statement saying "If any smell of smoke is found on the furniture, linen or etc.... then the guest would be charged $50.00" If you ask me, I believe this is an unfair statement. What are they going to do, charge a none-smoker for someone prior smoking in the room? Also, we had been told we were given a "none-pet room." clearly they lied. There were towels in the closet that had an accompanying note which read, "pet towels have been provided for your use." What if one of us had been allergic to pets? The other rooms were full. Management needs to be truthful when renting rooms to guests. The lies and misleading information made us more curious to find what else was being hidden. I noted the celling joints had dried streams of paint running down the walls. The paint job was shoddy and done quickly. Was this done to cover up mold?
Was the room at least quiet? No. Someone loudly knocked on our door in the middle of the night. We did not ask for anyone to come to our room. It was a knock and ditch effort, a little prank played by immature guests. This was our first night. On the second morning, someone stood by our room and yelled "Breakfast time...Get your coffee and donuts!" Waking up to someone yelling is not considered quiet.

I booked last minute, but I was treated to a wonderful experience with a quick check in and my request for a room on the bottom floor was accommodated with a smile. I liked the easy on/off of Highway 101 and the room was spacious with the added bonus of a microwave and refrigerator as well a Keurig!
