The hotel/restaurant/bar are fantastic. We enjoyed drinks and breakfast the morning after. Tammy was just great.

Take pride in history, great experience

Loved the historic hotel building right in the heart of Cody!
Nothing I didn’t like.
4.0
loved the antique, western themed decor in the rooms and halls. Had dinner and breakfast buffet. Loved hearing stories of hotel from the staff.
No room to change clothes in bathroom. No shower liner in bathroom, had to use towels to mop up floor after shower
4.0
central location to activities
amenities were not up to par as advertised. room was ok, bathroom door would not stay closed, tv was small, carpet was dirty, visible dirt.
4.0
Great location and very comfortable bed.
The property is certainly tired. I checked out the buffet but it was not very appealing. I ended up eating across the road at Proud Cut Saloon which was awesome. Ashley, Michelle and Daniel were great staff and a complement to the hotel overall.

there was music in the lounge and it was so loud that I could hear it in my room (15) , even the lyrics.
4.0
The nostalgia/history of the property and the location.
it could have been inconvenient that you had to go to the dining room for ice but the staff was very nice and quick to get it for you.

History of the place. Restaurant.
Rooms are tired. Mishmash of furnishings. Some older nice vintage with other modern items. Colors of walls, bedspread, carpets and curtains didn't come close to matching. What a shame for such a potentially wonderful place.

I love the history there!!

Location great; good value. Fun historic place.
Beware of internal rooms with no windows! Not something I had expected. Staff did swap rooms for us to a room with a window.

It was like staying in a museum! Buffalo Bill Cody actually had this hotel built. There are pictures of him throughout the hotel and you can see where his room was. The food in the restaurant is very good. The entertainment in the lounge was very good!
There is no free breakfast. You can hear people walking around in the room above you. Parking can be difficult.

Love the unique hotel and history ! Very close to authentic

Loved the history of the hotel. It was very clean, location was great.
Staff was very rude, wanted to spend time with locals rather than wait on customers equally. The only kind response we got was in the lounge area.

Staying in an historic building in the Centre of Cody with onsite parking. Very clean as well.
Expensive for what is was but you were paying for staying in such a historical hotel

The history of the place. Good restaurant and bar and lots of taxidermy to see. Excellent location in the heart of Cody.
I stayed in the "old" side. The claw-foot tub/shower is a nice concept, but the curtain made it too dark and there is no place for the soap/shampoo/conditioner. The grab bar is behind the curtain and on the wall behind you, so climbing out of the claw-foot tub/shower was slippery and dicey.

Historic ambience.

The decor and setting. The Bison ribs at the bar were delicious. While the bartender was friendly, service was very slow and non-attentive.
The room, while comfortable, was certainly over priced at $240. (Single King) For that price I expected the furnishings, etc to be a bit more higher quality.

A young man named Daniel was helpful as well as a waitress.
We enjoyed a walk in the evening on the main street.
We booked 2 rooms on booking quite a while ago but when we arrived there was only one room available. Our tough luck I guess.
The 2 front desk women were rather abrupt and could care less.
The toilet ran all night and the phone did not work.
Another young man named Daniel was helpful as well as a waitress.
The Irma is novel but I doubt I would stay there again.
