Inexpensive motel great for an overnight stay, all rooms ground floor
the heater was a space heater, worked but wish it wasn't needed

Super close to Death Valley. Friendly staff, clean beds and hot water! Also decent food options nearby.

Was there breakfast? I liked it was reasonably priced.
The gaps around the doors were pretty huge so we stuck towels in the doors for added insulation. The heaters could be better but we would stay again. Also you should make the parking more clear, the red rocks match the red of the hotel so we didn't realize you couldn't park in front of them.

we liked the the theme of space and Area 51.
well my wife thought the bed was a little too firm but she had no problem sleeping. I liked the firmness of the mattress.

good location
Our room wasn’t cleaned. I understand if the sheets are not changed daily, but our bed was not made and we did not get clean towels. Bare light bulb in the bathroom.

I liked the Retro themes of the rooms. It was very quiet and I got a great night's sleep. Strong wifi and very hot water. Couldn't ask for much more.

The staff was fine.
There was some kind of crumbs very visible on the floor...it was clear that the room had either not been vacuumed at all, or it had been vacuumed very poorly. It smelled too strongly of chemical air freshener. The two arm chairs were severely stained and had ripped fabric. The table had some 'sticky residue' on it that the cleaners had 'missed'. The whole room simply had an over all 'dirty feel' to it. The person at check-in charged my credit card (for the room) without even asking me how I would like to pay. I was hoping to pay CASH, but I was never afforded the opportunity!

Close to Death Valley (was closed though, flash floods 8/22)
Motto "atomic"
Very helpful staff and friendly owner (her private business)
Motto/ad not kept in rooms, expected sth "futuristic", was pretty old-fashioned

Location.
Very dirty. Killed a giant roach on nightstand. Bugs in all corners and above window.

No breakfast but, there is coffee in reception from 7am. This motel is an ABSOLUTE TREASURE, it’s close to the edge of a small town where the stark mountains rise straight to the sky and wild donkeys roam the streets. It has a real charm, the room was furnished with vintage eclectic taste and there were prints of USSR cosmonauts on the wall. It is a fabulous small town motel with friendly talkative staff. We were recommended a local diner for breakfast and a veterans club for dinner. We went to the club, where we had to sign in and a home cooked food with locals around us. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

You stay here for an atmospheric non-chain experience and it delivered on that!
The pillows are awful, probably some of the worst I have ever had in a hotel, yet ironically there was a note saying they are so comfortable they are available to buy! I fear this is because people nick them to prove to their friends how bad they are.

The stay was great and Cindy was very helpful.
Everything was very good.
5.0
The price.
It was a very dated room. It had a very small sink. The bed was not comfortable. I had to clean the fridge to be able to use it.

Fun little motor inn on the outskirts of Death Valley. Beatty has bands of roving wild burros which greeted us in the morning outside our room, which was fun.
No complaints at all. This is an older motel, but they have modernized in some respects (flat screen TV, for example). It was clean and comfortable and near Death Valley and the price is right.

Easy access from death valley, clean room, friendly staff

Staff were great, very helpful and informative. Check in was easy, room was large and comfortable. Property itself was located very close to dining options. Check out the VFW bar for cold drinks and great food. Also check out Mel's diner for one of the best most authetnic breakfasts we have ever had.

Nice, clean place with friendly staff.
Nice beds and pillows. It also had a tub which was nice.
3.0
staff was friendly
upholstery on chair was very worn/threadbare, bed creaked loudly, 2 light fixtures were bare bulbs, towels were small and thin, toilet paper one-ply.
